On Thursday, An Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court, Mr. Michael Abraham, who is the father, alongside his friend, Sylvester Dike, be remanded for allegedly defiling his 12-year-old daughter.

The police charged Michael Abraham, father to the minor and Sylvester Dike who is 35, with three counts of conspiracy, unlawful sexual assault and defilement.

Both defendants, however, pleaded not guilty.

Mrs Adeola Adedayo, The Chief Magistrate, remanded the defendants at the Nigerian Correctional Service in Ikoyi, Lagos, pending when the matter would be filed at the Sexual and Special Offences Court, Ikeja.

She then adjourned the case until Oct. 9, 2019 for mention.

Insp. Chinalu Uwadione, the Prosecution Counsel, however told the Magistrate court that both the defendants committed the unlawful offence between December 2018 and Sept. 9, 2019 at one No. 13, Godmon Street, Okota.

He alleged that Mr. Abraham defiled his own 12-year-old daughter and also invited his friend Sylvester to take part in the illicit act.
