The decision to expand down South West was made close to the election period and reports of how Igbos in Lagos were treated during that election period were heard far and wide. Igbos were disenfranchise in Lagos, especially in Igbo dominated regions. We saw Tinubu's wife made some snide comment on an igbo vendor captured in a video. search nairaland and you will find it... Who made the popular "Is Evans a herdsmen"? Who sent thugs to attack Igbo traders at Oshodi?, who sent thugs after igbo voters.

You can deny all you want... but the news is out there for all to read...

Everybody is different and react differently. The fact that there are igbo billionaires in Lagos does not mean those ones in the East see things like others in Lagis. I was even using those ones in Lagos like Coscharis and co to convince them like you stated but dude said they are still watching.

Some of you think I am pained by this because I am igbo... nope, I am angry because a lot of people would benefit from such investment.

Do you know how many investors have refused to step their feet into Nigeria because of the way things are? We have Chinese, indians and lebanese but do you know the amount that would have come to NIgeria had we had a stable economy?

Yes, there are igbo business men in Lagos who have SPEND DECADES in Lagos but we are talking about a company owned by someone who has spent all their business years in the East. Both are not same. It is like the case of Nigerians born here and those born in foreign lands... they are Nigerians by heritage but their worldviews and perspective can never be the same... Those igbos in the East hold a different view to Nigeria's existence to most Igbos who spend virtually all their years in Lagos.

Even Obasanjo did not do what Tinubu has done... and nobody is taking your Lagos from you.

I also like how you concluded, what we call education is nothing more than ability to read and write and interprwte but in actuality we are not brighter than North. They act what they know, we in South talk what we know. Talking doesnt get result, action does. Thats why they have an edge. If we will act what we know, their mythical make belief power will be broken.

Seems a lot of you don’t understand what is at stake and the kind of power play going on. Like I’ve always said, the myth that the north cannot be defeated will be nullified in 2023.

There is only one thing I know and the fact is that even if the North retain power in 2023, anything it’s coming to the South it will still be the SW. the reason is simple and it’s evident judging by Nigeria history post civil war.

The Igbos can try all they can to solicit for northern alliance in 2023 like they’ve always do pre-2015, but even if an Igbo man is the senate president, house of rep, or SSG, they will never be supported as a president by the North.

Also a fact is that the APC will field a South westerner in 2023 no matter what, whether the Northerner in PDP will defeat the APC or not should be left to the voters and rigging machinery of the party in power.

I keep saying for SW to retain the presidency, they need to front Fashola/El-Rufai, if APC make the mistake of fielding Osinbajo thinking the SE will vote for him because he is a Christian, then they are in for the worst mistake of their life.

I know bro but it was why I called him an evil person in my reply earlier which made him tone down his aggression but he could not tame his hatred, reason why towards the end of the post u quoted, his revolt rared its head again.

I could not convince an igbo company that was suppose to come to Lagos as expansion of the company from 3 Generation away.. They needed 30 hectares of land but due to the kind of politics Tinubu have bee sowing, plus things he did to igbos during the election, they refused to come. That is job losses for a lot of lagosians, from surveyor, to architect, to bricklayer, to carpenters, to tilers, to electricians, painters and lots more...

I didn't even know someone else was experiencing same until he revealed how his real estate business have been affected because igbos are not buying as much property like they used to.

Why aren't they buying? The ethnic politics Tinubu has sown.

Well on the issue of being a pastor, that one no concern me because I am not a religious bigot and nobody can use that too fool me. Osibanjo was not an exception.He turned his head the other way when Fulani heads men were on the match across the southern region; destroying farmers crops, raping our women,maiming and killing anyone that stands in between their cows from crazing on people farm.He,Tinubu and other APC chieftain kept mute while they watch in silent as these atrocities were carry out. Infact, Tinubu was ready to dish out land from the south west for cattle colony just because of his political ambitions.
Pls tell these group of people to protect their own and stop becoming mumus to the Hausa Fulani as they will never sell their own over the need of another region.They are united and this unity cut across party line.

With the arguments that I have read,it goes to show that are better of divided. No matter how hard we try to love one another it would never work out. The British brought us together for the sole purpose of using our natural resources for the benefit of their people. The sooner we realize this the better for us. We can never make head way with the North who do not believe in progress and development. If care is not taken we might end up like Niger republic of Chad in the next 15 - 20 years.

my guy,that has been the plan all along. If you read an article here on Nairaland you would understand that Lord luggard never liked the educated blacks. He felt we were beneath them. Naturally they knew that Awo and Zik were highly educated so before indepence they created a foundation of Nigeria that put the North in a fundamental position which they have exploited till this day. What made the South more prosperous that the North? The natural resources and the human resources. Before the regions were destroyed we saw the progress of the south and we saw the intellectuals they produced. You know the magic Awo did in SW. Now these resources are controlled by those who were not qualified to manage them.we are going down every day. We do not produce intellectuals like in the 60s and 70s. We are moving at their place and downgrading to the level of mediocrity. Education doesn't matter any more. We even have a president with an affidavit as certificate. How long will it take before our IQ level drops to the level of writing an exam just to score only 3 and pass? My guy we are moving towards that direction.
