DocH:. The cabals are smart, they know the military will break in when this happens, they will do the most "desperate-legal" thing (that has been the antecedent), which is to interpret, bend or amend the law shamelessly to their favour. 1 Like |

madridsta007:Pres. Buhari will NOT attempt 3rd term. His first term was diluted by his ailment. He is determined to do a remarkably 2nd term to leave a legacy. |

You are the most difficult country on earth . You can never be satisfy with any leader. if planning for a third term what is wrong with that Anything that will make the country go forward is welcome. The country is dead, dead and dead. He's the only one in the horizon that can resurrect it so let all yall shut the Bleep up! Shameless and implacable lots, tell me which of your leaders in the past have be in your good books. |

Biglittlelois: It was not Atiku that made sure that Obasanjo didn't get a constitutional amendment. Atiku was opposed to the third term agenda, but that was all. It was not possible for him to have made sure about anything. He didn't have that power. He wouldn't have been able to stop Obasanjo. It was the Senate that threw out the amendments balderdash. However, I agree with you that Obasanjo and Atiku's relationship declined because of that. Obasanjo was dipping into emergency funds to try and influence lawmakers. But we must thank God for the likes of Abike Dabiri and many others who refused to be bought. And yes, Atiku was persecuted. He was called a thief, and many other names. There are evidences of Atiku's corruption. But, Obasanjo too was just as corrupt. Both men ran our universities aground. And the likes of Dangote, Otedola, etc, used their money to finance Obasanjo's third term bid. The likes of Fani Femi Kayode were in it too for the money. That one would dance for you as long as you give him food. |

festacman: From the removal of the CJN to the appointment of dead persons to senior board positions— it is clear that Buhari has broken the rule book of decency. Unless we want to deceive ourselves, one wouldn’t be surprised if he attempts a third term. Frankly, I will support and cheer him on. Nigerians don’t seem to have learnt lessons yet. 1 Like |

I don't doubt this. Osinbajo once said some weeks ago that Buhari's government would do great things for Nigerians in 10 years. Dude is into his 2nd term and has like 4 years left. I don't think Osinbajo is foolish enough to not realize that it takes more than 2 terms to reach 10 years. 1 Like |
