Buy the 2010 if you can afford it. 2007 - 2009 are prone to oil burn.

Can one get a neat Nigerian used Toyota Camry 2010
for 1.6m ?

For a good locally used one, may be a difficult find at that price.

Mazda parts are pricey, this particular choice shares 60% parts with Volvo S40/V50 and Ford focus of same year.

I guess it's safe to buy it and ensure you take good care of it

Not enough details on the Ad, but the exterior/interior looks good. Do a VIN check to be sure it's not a heavily accidental or flooded car. Your mech should confirm the rest.

Hello people.

I am thinking of getting a Toyota Camry, 2010/11(muscle)

Just not sure whether to purchase via a dealership locally or buy directly from one of these auctions and ship myself. I have never done this before. This will be my first car as well.

I've heard rumours that most of these dealership mostly buy salvaged cars then Behind it up when it arrives. So am a little worried. And since I haven't shipped large items from overseas before. I am kinda sceptical with regards to the second option as well.

My people,

Compare Lexus es350/gs350 with a Toyota Avalon.

2008/2009

In terms of luxury, reliability, technology, availability/affordability of parts.

In short, every other thing except engine power

The GS350 is higher in luxury, technology and more expensive in parts and maintenance than the others.

The ES350 and Avalon shares Engine but the ES shares other parts with Camry of same year. Depending on what trim of the ES and Avalon in question, I did say the ES is higher than Avalon the Avalon is a luxurious vehicle too just that it carries a Toyota badge.

Having worked for Toyota in the past, I'd take an Avalon. It doesn't get respect in Nigeria but dollar for dollar, it's more bang for your buck. Also, in Nigeria it will be unique. Everyone and they Mama got an es or gs

Yup. XL is base typically with cloth seats and XLS typically with leather, display and other bells and whistles

Does it suffer from the weak suspension issues the Toyota Camry of same year suffers? I mean the 2005 - 2007 MYs.

The Limited edition is the most luxurious in the avalon trim if we are talking about 2005 up till 2018.The redesigned 2019 model has the touring model as the most luxurious.

Just maybe if it had the Lexus badge. I guess most folks will just rather get the Lexus.

The resale value is also not very encouraging.

Personally, the Avalon is the only Toyota sedan I can buy.
