Roland17:
Auba's input is more than goals at this point. For example, he did not only allow Pepe to take the PK but after Pepe scored he celebrated with Pepe with a lot of intensity, you would think he was the one that scored the goal. I imagine he did this to motivate Pepe to believe in himself. The man loves this team and it is evident in how much he sacrifices on the pitch.
Auba is a pure heart apart from being a good striker, he did the same for lacazette in his first season he sacrificed his hat trick for lacazette to score.
He different from that monkey in whl that even protested his team mate goal just to win highest goals scorer

..... This our midfield na real headache. Emery is really confused at this point and wonders what to do with Xhaka. Guendouzi came alive when he went off.....

..... All has been said here and I feel for Saka going off today but I doubt if Emery will start him against United. We might see another diamond again.

.... Niles....Niles . .. Honestly, I don't know what to make of this guy? He did the same thing against Leicester last season and that was one of the matches that ruined our chances for top four last season. I know he is not a right back but he has played more matches in the first team in that position. For God sake, he should be doing better. He messed up today, he really did.

... Yes, we should be doing better at home but we were ten men down but came back and won. Excellent character showed by the team led by a twenty year old while senior men were doing anyhow and brilliant man management by the coach. Xhaka is running out of time because coaches like Emery won't look back after they have moved on from you.

.... Excited for the United match. Time to break the jinx.

That guy na dirty abeg.

How that guy became a footballer, I still can't fathom. Even Andre Silva wey play for us that year Sabi pass am well well. It irks me watching him sabotage our efforts going forward. Kai

Na this thing way opponents they get more shots against us they vex me.
You Will see our midfielders allowing opponents till they reach box18 before they tackle, everyone go come they blame defenders

Emery needs to Go...

No tactics no nothing... Today's win was down to players doggedness...

Emery looked clueless and confused...

I told you he can't manage a big player... Remember Neymar, Cavani role at PSG... now he's benching Ozil claiming he's resting him... Smg

Both Emery and his players are madt, so they can raise intensity like this, if they can do it with 10 men, then it's possible we kill them off 3-0 before half time..

I hate seeing that slow, weak and lazy football in that first half.

Before we forget, Saka has nailed that LW position in my opinion. The kid was aggressive again and creative with the ball on his feet and he was also tracking back to provide cover.

Emery will end his own career if he persist with Sokratis and Xhaka, it is clear Sokratis and Luiz combo is only good on paper, He rather not start them at Old Trafford, I wouldn't mind Holding/Mustafi/ chambers..

Kolasinac should be sold abeg,Niles should be relegated to bench.

Positives..

Guen's attitude is everything, played like a captain who desperately wants to win a medal, that's what we demand from the yeye senior leaders in the team..

Auba is the 2nd half was industrious, this is what we want, even if he isn't scoring, let's see you give the team support as against his former attitude of jogging and waiting for final pass..

Pepe was average for his standard, hopefully he starts banging it from next week.
Torrera/ willock good intro.

Hard work 3 points, this type of win will do well to the players mentality.

Again, I ask, why is Torreira not starting for Arsenal? Every time he has come in or started we look different in the middle. Another spectacular game from Guen. I won’t mind a Guen/ Tor combo honestly.
thats the way to go, drop either Guen or Xhaka u can’t parade two slow DMs in one game.

A reminder that when tactics and strategy fails, players need to take responsibility and channel a winning , never say die attitude to try and change the tide. A young man with this type of attitude is destined for greater things. He will still make mistakes but he needs this mentality consistently to take him far.

Losing should never be an option when you give your best consistently. Much appreciation to this young man for not being SCARED...

The star is in the ATTITUDE ( some call it activity forming)...
Replica of the spurs game, I know the boy can be confident though fóolishly over confident atimes, but I never expected those driving runs into the box, it's not his forte, these are the features of attacking players not deep lying ones like Guen..
Risking his legs and body to get that penalty, He almost cried when we conceded immediately, his shots hitting the bar, standing against the opponents trying to bully his players, doesn't even looked tired at 90min and running into the crowds...
That's why he's so loved by the fans, If only he and Saka can have that Xhaka and Welbeck's physique. cool

Baba, let's appreciate him for not letting pride deny him the truth, Mr Sod has always praised him when he does well, just that he'll soon switch when next the team lose points.
.it's Mr Kokane own thats worst, he was already typing introduction to his epistles on the boy at half time, We won at Frankfurt, he was the only one to bring the boys matter here with" Xhaka had a good game because he doesn't have Guen with him"
Note, pride couldn't even make him come Acknowledge the boy yesterday, he waited almost 2 hours after the game to say " Emery should never pair slow Xhaka and Guen". Imagine?

Shameful.

cos u know what I was doing, I couldn’t even see the second half as I was engaged. Meanwhile I don’t owe u an explanation, cos if I’m to acknowledge anyone he won’t even be acknowledged for his role as a DM which further buttresses the fact that he’s not good as a DM the D in DM is not silent.

I’ve always said both should never be paired and my reasons were clear, they are both sluggish and it won’t work unless he changes his system which he did in the second half we will always struggle with that set up.

You also skipped my post on Saturday where I said he should have sold Xhaka and get a formidable DM to partner Torreira. In ur infinite wisdom u've not been able to decipher that I’ve alway heaped the blame of the line up on Emery.

Did Guen do anything defensively yesterday as a DM? If he did can u bring highlights, Was his strength not in attack?. What happened to playing to ur players strength. We had to concede and went a man down before ur manager used his brain and changed things.

It’s wins like this that get y’all carried away reason I said most of y’all see games with emotions. This was a game against Aston Villa that sits in relegation zone yet we struggled. But we want to make top 4.

My point hasn’t changed if “Xhaka and Guen are paired in midfield we’ll always struggle one of them has to make room for Torreira “, how’s that same thing as hating Guen why don’t yall say I hate Xhaka too, you Guen fan boys are honestly deluded.

Don’t get me angry this morning.
