cos u know what I was doing, I couldn’t even see the second half as I was engaged. Meanwhile I don’t owe u an explanation, cos if I’m to acknowledge anyone he won’t even be acknowledged for his role as a DM which further buttresses the fact that he’s not good as a DM the D in DM is not silent.

I’ve always said both should never be paired and my reasons were clear, they are both sluggish and it won’t work unless he changes his system which he did in the second half we will always struggle with that set up.

You also skipped my post on Saturday where I said he should have sold Xhaka and get a formidable DM to partner Torreira. In ur infinite wisdom u've not been able to decipher that I’ve alway heaped the blame of the line up on Emery.

Did Guen do anything defensively yesterday as a DM? If he did can u bring highlights, Was his strength not in attack?. What happened to playing to ur players strength. We had to concede and went a man down before ur manager used his brain and changed things.

It’s wins like this that get y’all carried away reason I said most of y’all see games with emotions. This was a game against Aston Villa that sits in relegation zone yet we struggled. But we want to make top 4.

My point hasn’t changed if “Xhaka and Guen are paired in midfield we’ll always struggle one of them has to make room for Torreira “, how’s that same thing as hating Guen why don’t yall say I hate Xhaka too, you Guen fan boys are honestly deluded.

Don’t get me angry this morning.
People just like to drag shít, no body is talking about how he made us concede the first goal when he failed to track his man.

He was entirely responsible for that goal.
The defenders were playing the offside track to contain Aston Villa forward line, Mcginn made a run from the midfield, Guendouzi failed to track the run and the offside track was breached.
He was 90% responsible for that goal. No buts, no ifs.

He is a good player who must not be paired with Xhaka as both lack positional awareness, discipline and fail to track runners behind them, exposing our already awful defense the more.

..... This our midfield na real headache. Emery is really confused at this point and wonders what to do with Xhaka. Guendouzi came alive when he went off.....

..... All has been said here and I feel for Saka going off today but I doubt if Emery will start him against United. We might see another diamond again.

.... Niles....Niles . .. Honestly, I don't know what to make of this guy? He did the same thing against Leicester last season and that was one of the matches that ruined our chances for top four last season. I know he is not a right back but he has played more matches in the first team in that position. For God sake, he should be doing better. He messed up today, he really did.

... Yes, we should be doing better at home but we were ten men down but came back and won. Excellent character showed by the team led by a twenty year old while senior men were doing anyhow and brilliant man management by the coach. Xhaka is running out of time because coaches like Emery won't look back after they have moved on from you.

.... Excited for the United match. Time to break the jinx.
United will play youth in that match . If we hope to match their energy, we must play our youths, as our old men are no better but are sluggish. Saka is an upgrade on Nelson. I expect him to start at Old Trafford. He possessed more goal threat than Pepe when both were on the pitch.

you read when one said I wanted to type epistle at half time. I even overlooked the goal ish cos it would seem I have agenda on the guy. The hypocrisy is if it was Mustafi, Xhaka or AMN they would have been here shouting “crucify him”!

We all agree that the midfield has been shambolic, while being below par at protecting the defence. We all know Guen has been a major part of that midfield since the first kick of the ball this season . But for some reasons blame anyone but Guen when discussing the midfield woes. Who does that? Hypocrites!

Comot for road abeg...
Guendouzi deserved all the criticism he got.
His game has weaknesses. If he didn't raise his game in second half, he would again be criticized and rightly so.

If he must play at this level and for us, he must continue improving. We criticize him because we demand and expect quality weekly performance.

Fabregas was his age mate when he was bossing the likes of Viera, Tarchinaddi and co in UCL quarterfinals.

The star is in the ATTITUDE ( some call it activity forming)...
Replica of the spurs game, I know the boy can be confident though fóolishly over confident atimes, but I never expected those driving runs into the box, it's not his forte, these are the features of attacking players not deep lying ones like Guen..
Risking his legs and body to get that penalty, He almost cried when we conceded immediately, his shots hitting the bar, standing against the opponents trying to bully his players, doesn't even looked tired at 90min and running into the crowds...
That's why he's so loved by the fans, If only he and Saka can have that Xhaka and Welbeck's physique. cool
Abi oh!

Why do everyone here keep yapping on about our Jerry curl boy cheesy

You all should also put that same energy to criticize cvnts like Xhaka, the Greek wrestler, and the brainless body builder...

This guy is just 20 and is developing nicely, cut him some slack!

Playing deep is not his forte though, I see him more like a Yaya Toure or Cesc kind of player...

.... Of course. Our fullbacks scare me. I don't know who United will fill in the wings but Chambers/ Niles and Kolasinac don't fill with confidence. Emery is quite direct, if you impress when given the opportunity, you will surely stay in the first team. But it's an away game, so it's quite difficult to predict Emery's game plan. Ceballos didn't impress me yesterday so he might not play the diamond. I won't be surprised to see Ozil start. Emery is unpredictable like that. Whichever way, Leno, Luiz, Kolasinac, Chambers, Auba, Pepe and Guendouzi will surely start.

How can you pinpoint one mistake and use it to classify a person? Who didn't make a mistake yesterday. Even Auba missed glaring chances. What we check is a player's overall performance and attitude. You and Kokaneprodigy are so pessimistic I wonder how your wives/girl friends cope. If at all they agreed to bleep you.

Honestly bro.

One little boy takes responsibility for grown up clowns and insignificant clowns has the guts to write shiit just because they have internet access.

If the Guen/Xhaka partnership isn't working then there is only one person at fault, and it is not Guen. Definitely not.

He does not even play as a DM as some kpako analyst are spurting, he plays a box to box/ runner role which involves more of attacking than even defending especially when playing against weaker oppositions. His burst into the box to win a penalty is part of his primary duty. That he couldn't track a player, is not what one can judge his game entirely on. That's silly thinking.

We need the likes of Guendouzi playing every week. We need that bite, that doggedness, that fighting spirit, that mentality.

Blame Socratis, or Xhaka. Blame Luiz or Kolasinac all you want, but why blame Guen?

He did when we look at his primary assignment which is defensive/shielding the defense. Emery had to switch things up by pushing him up. Guen is not a DM! He lacks the qualities of a DM. After the switch he played more as an AM in the second half.

What you are asking me to do is to rate a striker based on his ability to hold up play and track back to support the defence and forgive his inability to score. Who does that? Spy.

I’ll continue to criticize his shortcomings as a DM as long as Emery keeps playing him there.! After all some put up Auba for sale cos he only scores tap-ins despite winning golden boot. something even someone with half a brain wouldn’t type..

I’ll ignore ur other rants for now.

It’s only in Arsenal you’ll have a box to box that can’t run to save his life. Yall keep encouraging mediocrity cos u beat a newly promoted Aston Villa currently wallowing in relegation zone.

This is how we want to win league.

By his analogy when the attack can’t bury chances and it’s severely blunt, we should blame Leno, Luiz, Mustafi, Guen, Xhaka and not Auba, Laca or Pepe.

Dude is just an irredeemable dunce.

I'm among the critics of Auba last season for his inability to use the ball well and help the team generally and this his former lazy style of jogging and waiting for tap ins..

I noticed towards the end of last season when he was deployed to RW, he started using the ball and pace well, contributes to build up and helps defend. He even scored some wonderful individual goals like the ones at Valencia, against Burnley and the winner yesterday..

I've always preferred him uptop, He was one of the reason I want wingers, and ball carriers arouns him, since his strengths are pace and finishing

Though, he might still be wasting chances, disappearing and other frustrating stuffs, but the koko be say, since his goods far outweigh his negatives,I along those fans have left his case, focus and celebrate the positives, for he is an asset, money well spent, a blessing and far from the headache we have.

It'll be embarrassing and stvpid to be writing epistles on the negatives of players giving their all and justifying thier price tag or even beyond what they were purchased with.

Stick to the argument oga, everyone know defence is shít, but the midfield shouldn't have compound the issue on defence like yesterday if only the midfield played the way they did in the second half all season we won't be having this talk.
