It’s only in Nigeria that thunder kills! 1. If at all they were killed by natural phenomena, it would be lightning and not thunder. 2. I do not believe they were struck by lightning rather they were poisoned. 3. Operation Hippopotamus Dance loading... how dare they kill citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria!! 30 for that matter in one day! This is genocide and mass murder of lawful citizens. |

I hail the Police for their candor and objectivity this time around. They've stated it as it is - a natural disaster pure and simple. No equivocation. Lightning strikes do kill humans and livestock in the open fields all over the world where there is no Sango. I suspect that within the Fulani herding community, it's not an entirely strange experience, except maybe for the scale of it. I'm a professional in electrical protection, and the phenomenon is well understood and documented. It is preposterous to ascribe natural random events to some gods on vengeance. It's also irresponsible and dangerous to suggest that the cows were poisoned, as we know what could follow from that. |

As a born again Christian who is meant to speak the truth at all times, i pray God gives the Fulanis the fortitude to bear the loss of their precious cattles. The ondo state government should as a matter of fact arrange for compensations so as to cushion the effects of the losses of the Fulani herders. Instead of taunting the Fulanis and rejoicing over the deaths of their cows, we Christians should rather support RUGA settlements for cattle herders all over the country just like our Muslim brothers are doing so at to settle them and avoid this kind of losses in future. We Christians should learn about tolerance from our Muslim counterparts
