Switched my phone on this morning and saw this symbol. I tried to get the meaning but couldn't get a convincing explanation. I have only 'location' running but will uninstall third party apps one after the other if I fail to get what it is, I brought a replica of the icon here on Nairaland to see if you can help me out (phone with box symbol) For now, I've removed my SIM from the phone and left it turned off because I'm so not comfortable with that.

Technically speaking It seem like, you make calls with your phone VIA the Internet or rather you are calling via IP address so are charge with data usuage! instead of credit... |
