Men i'm so happy for Martinelli. The boys attitude at 18 is second to none. I see Ceballos and Torreira telling Nelson to stop all this flicks and tricks. Nelson and Emile are getting ahead of themselves if they think all these uneessary flamboyance will take them to the next level. I also trust Freddie to give them a strong warning concerning that. I like professionalism and seeing a youth product exhibit that nonsense should not be tolerated.

I also do not like the Ozil substitution. I mean, he really did not do anything wrong to warrant that. Hopefully this can be sorted out asap as the chemistry is really bad now.

All in all i guess any senior player that sees the bench should not complain as some of these lads are pushing for that first eleven.

It will be interesting to see the line up we parade against United. COYG!

For Ozil probably it's a warm up to Man Utd.

A lot of credit must go to Freddie Lunjberg. Many of these young stars are showing mature skills, awareness and control. For a very long time we have not had so much abundant youthful talent in our squad.

He deserves the place besides Emery. Hopefully one day he will man the dugouts.

That was a beautiful display from the boys, it was like a fitness training/rehearsal of what to expect in October when everyone gels and oiled..

For me The back4 of Niles,Luiz,Sokratis and Kolasinac should see bench, Chambers, Bellerin,Tierney,Mustafi,Holding and Mavropanos should all be in contention to start.

Ozil was very beautiful and joy to watch, Torreira was on point, Willock did well,Rowe was okayish, Nelson tried but didn't light up day..

Martinelli is a baller cheesy Saka is a natural winger.

On to utd.

on Calum Chambers and what his best position is...
He helped. He helped us in the training, in the dressing room and when you need him to play right back, centre back, left back like tonight, and we can use him in the midfield also. His performance is starting with his attitude and his attitude is amazing. After that is his best position, but tonight for example I was telling him, when he was playing left back, be calm here, help and support Bukayo, give the ball to Dani Ceballos and he was overlapping a lot of times with Bukayo! He did one very good pass for the goal with Nelson. He didn't listen to me

Emery on chambers....
It's funny but Emery is not the coach that will lead us well, he couldn't even free these lads for some minutes

I guess we can say Martinez also didn't listen to Emery (and rightly so) in that Frankfurt game when he was BUDEing the ball to the players upfront instead of the usual non effective buildup from the back.

..... No matter how good you think you are as a footballer, always listen to your coach. Open rebellion, no matter what you do on the pitch is pure stupidity to me.

.... Nketiah is firing away at Leeds and Gabriel is showing his worth. I love the slow and gradual integration of the young lads. They will fetch a good sum if things don't work out for them here.

... One of Luiz and Papa will sit out the bench sooner or later. Kolasinac will start on Monday and I hope Chambers rebellion won't make him sit on the bench. I know he is trying to show why he shouldn't be on the bench but like the Bible rightly says, obedience is better than sacrifice...

.... Unto Monday things. A win will do us good.

This man has this mentality of staying back after 2 or 3 goals lead, someone brought this up during preseason but we didn't pay attention.
I guess the same happened during Watford,we should be scoring lot of goal incase our defence start their madness and also to scare small teams. No sensible small teams will attack city or LFC unless they want to be roasted.

first it was özil, then it was Martinez and now it's chambers soon the full team will be against emery and his stupid tactics.

I'm suprise that no one is seeing the bigger picture, Unai emery is gradually lossing the dressing room thanks to his dumb tactics and if care is not taken he will end up like jose Mourinho during his stint at manyoo.

Bros that foolish tactics is making them look like they are not professionals, imagine forcing grown up men to pass from back. Even guen that use to collect ball from Leno have stopped, no body want to be a scapegoat for the fans again.
As for Martinez, maybe Baba they think if arsenal will cash out on him he better remain good than to be an apere ajase that they turned Leno to.
85% of goals we conceded this season has been from back play or individual mistake, so I don't blame him for playing safe.
Chambers should ride on jare Baba they form one mumu coach wan slow down him glory

I for one do not support going against the instructions of your coach at any level. But When the chips are down and the tactics and strategy are being checkmated by the opponent, then someone has to take responsibility. Only then is it justified to go against the instructions in lieu of finding the right plan to counter the opponent.

Believe me, even coaches are humans and sometimes they will tell you that at a point in some games, they really could not find an answer to the opponent. This is where the players have to step up and go beyond what was done on the training ground to grind out a result.

But this is where i have an issue with Emery. We are playing Forest at Home, why should we be cautious for crying out loud. In all Honesty only 4 or 5 teams should make us adopt a cautious approach either home or away. The rest of the teams should have a fear factor against us . Well who knows whether emery is gradually losing the dressing room and whether or not the players potentials are being hindered by his tactics. He his a brilliant manager no doubt but it just looks as if some things are not right internally at the moment.

The only ones who seem to adhere to him are most likely the younger ones from what i see and these are not good signs for a manager

What yesterday night made clear:

1. Xhaka shouldn't be anywhere near our first team.

2. Willock and Torreira give us the tenacity in our midfield that we have been lacking

3. Chambers has proven that he should also be starting until he plays himself out of contention

The shameless man was already talking about recycling possession after 3 goals ahead instead of going for more goals.
