Good evening Mama's pls I'll like to know:
is it really necessary for a 1yr old child to start creche b4 KG1?
Wat do they actually do in creche apart from d feeding and general childcare activities?
Pple keep telling me to take my child who just clocked 1 and yet to walk to creche.
Really want to know if it improves d child more in other aspects.

Parenting in Africa is plagued with a lot of people
Telling you what to do or not do actually! It’s left to you to sieve and use what works best for you and the child or children.

As per crèche or kindergarten for a toddler I find it improves social interactions. I , babythug doesn’t care much for a toddler who can write or count up to one million by age 3.

My last child was in crèche at age 1 because I needed some free time else I’d have kept him at home till age 3. I had a 9 to 5 when my
Older children were young so of course we went the crèche route very early!

Good evening mamas, am a first time mum and am new here.
I gave birth 10 days ago and I had teers, it was stitched and latter it loosened, I went back to re-stitch it. It's been ten days now and the blood coming out from my private part has not stopped, please ma's is it normal? And how many days will it take for the blood to stop?
My second concerned is my Tommy, it's not going down that much, what can I use?

It's been just 10 days, I'm sure it's no longer heavy, but you have to give it time, it would stop soon. It would probably not last the entire 6 weeks but anything within 6 weeks is not out of the ordinary.

Also sorry about the restitching. Please avoid working too hard until they heal, also eat lots of fruits and vegetables so that you won't strain when pooing, as that can loosen the stitches too.

It's not necessary biko. If you can stay at home with him until he's at least two, then he's lucky.

The only advantage of creche in my opinion is socialization...and relief for parents

If your child has opportunities to interact with other kids and you can handle childcare 24/7, there is no need

The dreaded 6 weeks immunization was done yesterday, God knows I prayed and searched on ways to soothe or reduce the aftermath pains, but to my amazement LO did so well, not saying she didn't cry, she did, she cried for few mins but most of the day, she was sleeping, a lil fever (not serious). She had the challenge of eating as she would only suck for few mins.

Please kindly respond to this
Mamas that did CS, what waist trainer did you use and how was the experience for you, getting your Tommy back to your desired size and what tricks did you use, I have been given the go ahead to use one if I want to except if I have some discomfort down the region

So this morning, I bathed GiddyBaby first, then I bathed Amalinze, then I tried to put them in front of the TV to watch nursery rhymes so that I can get stuff done.

They both love nursery rhymes but whenever GB notices that two of them are alone, she starts yelling at Amali, and the yelling scares him so he cries and she laughs. This is what she does every single time they're left alone, I can't even go into how much it annoys me.

Anyway so she's yelling, and his wailing, and I'm just trying to shut out both their voices for a minute so that I can finish what I'm doing. But GB is relentless, so I finally had to go and pick up Amali and now I'm pissed at GB.

Their father has always said I should stop pinching her and start putting her on time outs instead. Rolls eyes.

Anyway so I take Amali into our bedroom, and lock GB out as I try to console him cuz believe it or not, if I leave the door open, GB would follow me and keep yelling at Amali and laughing so that he'd never stop crying.

Whenever I lock GB out of the bedroom, she usually stays by the door banging and crying. Whenever she doesn't do this, I know that she's up to mischief. She was quiet today but the living room is more child proof than its ever been and the kitchen door is locked so I figure she can't be up to much and ignore her while I breast fed Amali.

5 minutes later I start hearing faint coughing sounds and it also sounded as if she was swallowing. I quickly opened the door and she was no where to be found, I checked the second room and there she was, squatting over the water I used to bath Amali, using her hands as cup to scoop it and gulp it down. cheesy cheesy cheesy. Reminded me of an ancient African widow practice but it didn't scare me because it couldn't be worse than when she ate my weave. cheesy

This is the reason they tell you to put your children in creche at one.

Had the implant last year and here was the pros and cons for me. Body differs, so what worked for me might not work for you. What I enjoyed about it for the no period, sometimes I can go 2 or more months without period and if it decides to show, is merely spoting and what I didn't like about it was the fact that it turned me to orobo(Fatty) had to remove it cos I was not happy with the weight gain.

I didn't use waist trainer, just a healthy diet and it went down on its own. Started fitfam after I weaned my son at 10 months and that's when I firmed up fully

I'm on it, I got it around I think March. Got a crazy 10 day long period the week after, that almost made me take it out but since it stopped and until today no period, not even spotting. Yayyy. That's the only thing I love about it.

The cons.
Mood swings
Major weight gain. It actually makes me eat a lot and I don't resist but if you can resist the food, you'll be good, I think.
Also if you have issues with pimples and stuff on your face, it might not be ideal for you.

I weaned cold turkey. Friday to Sunday. Just stopped gabadaya, but LO slept with daddy while I slept by myself in another room. Daddy did all the work and petting while I pretended not to be in the house.

By Sunday the boy had forgotten bobby. He was 13 months.

PS: I fell ill during the process. Fever from engorgement.

Always thinking of how I will stop him o cause he doesn't eat normal food that much majorly breast n pap, just imagining how those night will be I need encouragement mummy

From my own experience the child gets to socialise more, my baby started at 3 months cause I had to resume work, after sometime and till now he loves going to the creche mixing up and playing with his friends anytime I take him to my mums place he feels isolated after sometime cause no friends around to play with, most times if I go pick him he is joyful and happy or sleeping peacefully after enough play, depending on your choice ma'am

Thing is, thanks to rich white people we can get it free of charge, so I suggest you just do it. If your body reacts negatively to it, you can always take it out and use something else. If you spend too much time analysing, you'd be carrying bomboy before you are able to make up your mind. Trust me I know cheesy
