But, they have a duty to hold the Executives accountable and the Trump Administration have been impending their work. They refused to agree to release the Whistleblower complaint to congress, something the law clearly said have to be released until the impeachment inquiries was launched.

Sometimes, you have to fight lawlessness even if it means you losing.

Also, remember many democratic voters have started blasting congress and becoming discouraged because numerous inaction by congress following many Trump blockages, so democratic candidates would have suffered at the polls in 2020 if congress they elected did nothing.

The likely outcome of this impeachment inquiries is that, Trump get impeached, becoming the 3rd US President to be impeached, but get acquitted in the Senate and this end result will fire up both Republicans and Democrats to come out in droves to vote for their respective parties. Usually in the US, if the turn out of an election is very high, it means the Democrats will win, because they have highest number of registered voters and Republicans will do everything to make turn out are not high, but this high stalk fight a year before an election is likely to make the outcome very high.

The green leave is this...Trump have not broke 50% in approval rating since he came into office and he is the first President not to have done so; this is an opportunity for him to either break that mark or further decline in ratings.

This call was very inappropriate and unnecessary if he was really unafraid of Joe Biden like he's being claiming. This man seems to be preparing his own downfall with his carelessness and disregard for the rule of law.
