Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Wednesday ruled out negotiations with the United States unless the latter lifts sanctions on his country first.

40 yrs of stubborness. They have weathered US sanctions for 40 yrs and have been able to produce the 14th most powerful military in the world. Iran is self reliant in many areas all thanks to U.S sanctions.

I know sanctions are bitting hard but look at the history of this country, it's a country that has a history of resisting pressure from its enemies. Trump thought the economic warfare would trigger an uprising but it's like the persians are more united in the face of this pressure. America does not want to appear as the loser that is why it keeps bombarding them with sanctions and Iran has its own card to play by enriching uranium level.

If America pushes Iran to the point of getting nuclear weapons then they have to deal with the reality of a nuclear armed Iran. North Korea got its own nukes heaven did not fall. America is using its pride and arrogance to jeopardize global strategic balance and stability.
