8 goals in 25 matches is phenomenal? Yeah he got injured around March in Stamford bridge and was out for about a month. A goal in 6 champions league matches isn't eye catching..Fact remains he was a peripheral figure in 2006 winning team.

It can't change the fact that Messi is actually being favored. The year xavi an Iniesta won the word up, the award went to Messi despite them having a better chance after winning for both club and country.

Now the same logic did not apply to Ronaldo after singlehandedly winning the ucl for RM, Instead, they gave it to modric for playing in the final.

There's a conspiracy behind Ronaldo and Florentino Perez is behind it.

All these argument no make sense, just imagine if they give this award to ronaldo some one will also dug out his old and new records too.

The problem with this award is that they are saying best men player, instead of best striker, football is a game of 11 men in the pitch. No one is best player... u are best in ur own position I just wish they will remove this award.

his dribble reduce, his passes increased and goals but not free kick, not jumping ability or scoring with weak foot, he hardly play penalties...
