Sowore had predicted that the DSS would not release him even if the court asks them to release him. This was made known through a tweet from the chairman of THIS DAY Editorial Board, Olusegun Adeniyi. Igberetv captured it. It reads:

“That Sowore is still in detention more than 24 hours after his bail conditions were perfected is a real shame and a serious affront on the rule of law,” he said.

“I hope the authorities will act quickly on the court order. I visited Sowore two weeks ago and sadly, he predicted this scenario.”

It only means that Nigeria now is now completely sliding into dictatorship under buhari. Now respect for the rule of law anymore unless it favors the ruling party.

It's disgusting really

Only iron hands can put Nigeria in order whether law or not. If the revolution protest had gone on, many of these same people will condemn the government for being weak. This revolution protest would have given Biafra an opportunity to accuse the government of being unfair and probably point out that the didn't do anything about it because of Tinubu.
It is already clear that many of us as Nigerians do not even know what we want anymore because we can't even point out a wrong act from a progressive act anymore.
Those blaming the government of not following the law should go back and check if it is right in the first place for any judge to grant bail to someone being charged for treason.
