All I hear is moaning abt missed chances nd wrong tactics forgetting that u guys only had a 3 goal lead to protect bcus of some woeful finishing from Liverpool nd superb saves from ter stegen in d 1st leg, which Liverpool mostly dominated

How can you slow down the tempo while being 3 goals down away from home. Liverpool had all the momentum and it was the most stupid substitution a coach could ever make

Using the excuse of benching Coutinho has no meaning. He was equally terrible in that game and when a player is playing poorly, you remove him irrespective of what the board thinks of not.

We had the perfect team at anfield. We contained the game perfectly at half time even missed a couple of chances. But Alba was our weak point and his error gave out the first goal.He played poorly in the first half of that game.In fact I told my friend that this was the first time I was seeing Alba play this bad since I started watching him They attacked through Mane in the first half which Vidal and I think Semedo did a perfect job in containing.

Klopp saw this error in our team and then directed every attack to Alba's position in the 2nd half. Vidal was playing excently and I expected him to play in that position instead he was confined in a position Liverpool was not attacking from. What was the need of having him in that game if he was not doing the dirty jobs

I thought the Roma game was bad until I saw that Liverpool game. The bad thing about it was that Liverpool was missing Salah and didn't even give us a comeback game. They simply attacked and won us all because we have a useless coach that I don't know what he's still doing at this club
My brother its painful and it's in the past. Hopefully this rubbish won't happen again. Hopefully

Are we going to win the champions league with this man?? With the way we play??

We cannot even win a match without Messi. Even goal.com said it yesterday after the inter Milan match that Valverde's only tactics is pass to Messi. How long is that going to continue
A lot of stupid writers are on goal.com. How many matches has Messi played in that we've won this season? Yesterday and Copa Del Rey, all the other matches we have won in La Liga, did Messi play? We are 4th in La Liga Messi hasn't played one match in La Liga, leave goal.com abeg. Even for Suarez 1st goal yesterday, was it Messi that assisted? Was it even Messi that created the chance? Give people credit that deserve credit, not one clueless writer on goal.con that watches one Barca match all season and has the guts to come and write rubbish calling it professional opinion

Liverpool played very well in the first leg, we walked away with 3 goals. They didn't even play half of what they did in the 2nd leg and we threw away that just because we have a coach that's too 1 dimensonal and doesn't adapt to games.

When we beat Bayern 3 nil at Camp Nou, Bayern were the better team but we still went to Allianz Arena and finished the game. You don't need to be the better team to win a champions league tie

When Inter milan eliminated us from the champions league, they had only Milito in our half. That was when Mourinho was a master in parking the bus.

You get your tactics right, thats how you win the champions league and not by being the better team

This one no get single sense.

We are talking about Barcelona.

No top team in the world like Real, Athletico, Juve, Bayern, Liverpool should throw away a 3 goal lead to any other team.

That's what we are talking about.

Use your head!

Lionel Messi is more than just a player for Barcelona. Being the important figure he is, he’s known to call some of the shots behind the scenes. Whether or not the Barca board choose to listen to him is down to them, however, they will want to keep their best player happy, inevitably. That said, he has given the board something to ponder over the coming months.
According to Fox Sports, Lionel Messi has requested that Barcelona sell Sergio Busquets before the end of the season. The Spaniard has spent 11 years in the first team without any issues, learning from the best in Xavi and Andres Iniesta along the way.
However, his performances so far this season have been questionable to say the least. He has not played to the standard he is able to yet this season, particularly in the Champions League. He has played quite well in La Liga, providing two assists in his opening five matches.
Busquets is one of the best midfielders of this decade. He often does not get the plaudits he deserves but, the truth is, Barcelona simply would not be the same without him. He is a skilful midfielder who likes to dictate play deep in the midfield. He has learnt from Xavi what it takes to keep Barcelona’s tiki-taka style of play flowing.
With Philippe Coutinho out on loan, Barca suffered a limit to their midfield options. Although Frenkie de Jong did arrive in the summer and he has impressed in his opening fixtures. With the 22-year-old on the rise, it could be time for Busquets to bid farewell before his reputation is tarnished at Camp Nou

Ndidi cannot play at present Barcelona, he will not gel with this team.

However, I remember we threw up Rodri's name some seasons ago, while he just debuted for spain, but Noooo, we didn't get him, see him now.

Jordi Alba returned to training on Saturday as Barcelona prepared for Sunday's game against Sevilla, their final fixture before the international break.
The left-back has been out for three weeks after getting injured in the Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund.
Alba's possible return to action this weekend eases the burden on Barça in the left-back position, with Junior Firpo also sidelined with a problem.
There's also a shortage in the middle of defence. Jean Clair Todibo is likely to step in with Clement Lenglet suspended and Samuel Umtiti injured.
Ansu Fati is also back in full training having missed the last two games with a knee problem and could return to the squad this weekend.

Against inter there was a moment that grizmann was meant to pull an alba on messi but the baba decided to shoot instead. It was 1-1 then.
Grizmann should better learn to square play ooo since it seems he will b playing in that position

Is it by number of matches lost?
When you clearly didnt factor in the injuries
Guy...they just played the 8th game out of 38.

Owk, I'll relax then, season is long, very long. What I meant by "everything wrong with Guardiola football" is the sometimes unsuccessful attempt at converting players. And imagine the kind of calamity Otamendi is. If Otamendi was in Barcelona, he would have been sent away 3 seasons ago. But their susceptibility to counters is alarming, their own and Barca's I don't know which is worse

Guy see talk fact let's call a spade a spade. We can't do without Messi it is well acknowledged that this Laliga season was the worst start we've had in the last 25 years. Between you and I if Messi started this season with us would we be in this position.

No De Bruyne no party, and then they were unusually susceptible to counters and Otamendi was easily the worst player on the pitch
