Federal Government has named Model Secondary School, Nsukka, Enugu State, winner of the 2019 President's Teachers & Schools Excellence Award.

The prestigious national award, which will be conferred on the school on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at the Eagle Square, Abuja, at 10am, was sequel to the general assessment of infrastructure, E-Library, quality teaching & learning in public secondary schools in Nigeria by the Federal Ministry of Education.

This outstanding feat was a fallout from various educational interventions by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's administration in Enugu State, which ensured the overhaul of all classroom blocks at Model Secondary School Nsukka, construction of dormitories and dining hall with state-of-the-art facilities.

Other pivotal interventions include installation of ICT/E-Library through the works department of the Post Primary Schools Management Board (PPSMB) and recruitment and training of quality teachers, leading to excellent performance of the school's JSS3 and SS3 students in junior and senior WAEC, respectively, among others.

Enugu State is truly in the hands of God. #amokelouis

I said this before.. When u go to startups, entertainments and businesses that were grown from nothing to something, u will hear names from east, west and South south more. U will rarely hear names from north. But immediately u go to FG agencies and institutions, u will be hearing names like Mohammed, Ahmed, Hammed, etc. All those Muslim names from the North. Same way thing abroad. If u break up Nigeria today, north may become worse than Somalia. Free money from govt agencies have made them extremely lazy.

How come they attached the letter from the federal ministry of education and even a governor's picture, yet they couldn't attach a simple picture of the school, the infrastructure therein assessed or a simple video of the e-learning and quality teaching for others to also see and learn from
Do you know how many secondary schools we have in Nigeria? And one of the whole lot has been adjudged worthy of this award.... For real? Or just on the attached paper ?

can someone show us the infrastructure in this school. Kudos to them. However, this doesn't counter the fact that ugwuanyi is a colossal failure. Guy, show us the infrastructure, e library and all the things you mentioned existing in this school. You always flaunt pics. Do same here
