ola33t:Her music reaches a wider audience than any female from Nigeria according to the numbers. Performance wise, she's topping too with yours around the globe. Her collaboration on the Beyonce album, her Rick Ross feature, etc has her gaining more international recognition everyday. She may not be a perfect representative for the Grammys but it's a good thing she's representing the country with her music and her song meets the criteria for a nod. Trash! Yemi Alade is a trashy artist even for 'Nigerian Standards.' 98% of her Music is incoherent gibberish. Apart from her early singles 'Ghen Ghen Love' and 'Johnny' her songs come across as boring garbage that I wouldn't listen to twice, unless I was paid to do so. 13 Likes 3 Shares |
