as a seller if you don’t want to be left vulnerable, take your goods off from a yard sale ... yard sale/clearance is for things of no value to the owner, don’t downgrade your self as a seller by bringing things you still have value for to an auction of things with no value

Some people are so poverty-stricken that even when they see good quality, they would never recognise it. That said, please those of you with good stuff who know that your items cannot be classified as “clearance” even though they aren’t brand new, open your own thread and advertise your stuff. To keep your thread going, ensure you go there everyday and write “still available”. That way, the thread remains active. Don’t be bullied into selling your items are dirt cheap prices because some people have no idea of its worth. You guys have chased away people who have good stuff and are relocating. Stop your bullying tactics. The fact that you cannot afford these items doesn’t mean all are over-priced. Of course they’re some rogue-sellers but most genuinely want to sell off their stuff at good rates.
By the way, I have a large bathroom mirror and ceiling fan to give away for free. Pls, I’ll only give them to those that truly cannot afford it.

Clearance sales doesn’t mean sell your items at cheap price. It’s sales at discount price not ridiculously cheap price.

Clearance sales doesn’t mean sell your items at cheap price. It’s sales at discount price not ridiculously cheap price.

CLEARANCE SALES means sell your items at cheap prices. e.g 50-70% off actual price
SALES mean sell your items at a discount. e.g 10-30% off actual price.
There is a big difference between Clearance sales and ordinary sales, and note that the above are usually new items.

I have items I drop down from 25k to 20k, I dont bring them here, that's mere sales not clearance.
I have some other household items that I am not in a rush to sell off at anyhow price and I dont bring them here.

Its not bad if sellers even come here and quote SALES price, it is just outrageous when some tag USED items even at prices higher than new ones.
And some people will have problem with calling them out and advice they be left alone, TAH!

Let's not stand and watch while a forum created for a particular purpose is being turned into something else.
When people are doing what is inappropriate in such an open group, let them know!
