Even if a girl is naked, it doesn’t give you the right to touch or ask for sex from her.
Even if a female student, asks you to have sex with her for grades, that shouldn’t give you the right to do that.
We men should stop blaming girls all the time for our bad things.

Yes. A man can be harassed by the way a woman chooses to cover her body. There is no modern society I know anywhere in the world which doesn't have limits. Even the most liberal.

Within the general society microcosyms often decide how to regulate behavior in line wirh their sub cultures, sensibilities, and operational requirements.

Though colleges are expected to be an incubator for liberalism and play a useful tool as a melting pot of various cultures into dynamic models of progress, they are also citadels of learning.... and learning requires thinking... and thinking requires focus.... and focus requires attention.... And attention does not require the distraction of the temptation of averse sexuality on display.

You simply cannot promote mental excellence in an environment where the body constantly gets in the way of the mind. Yes, dressing is important to excellence and mental competence. It is inversely proportional.

Why lecturers and authorities are not more proactive in heading off the damage these incidents do to their lives and reputations by setting standards and regulations baffles me quite frankly. You cannot gain access to my office looking like a tart for many reasons. I uphold ans guard my reputation built over decades with great care.

Yes, when enough men have lost careers, reputations, fortunes and liberties perhaps they will begin to view themselves as potential victims for once and those considered innocent as villans. We are gradually getting there.

Yes, some women do weaponise sexuality to conquer, destabilise and destroy.... since biblical times.

Look, me I will be honest o. Both Lecturer and students especially females are at fault. I know of females who entice lecturers. Some even end up marrying the lecturer. It all boils down to decency. Values and virtues are lost day after day in our nation and that's the bigger problem. Parents are not doing enough. Am into education and even at secondary school level alone, what student tries alone out of I don't want stress myself or I can't give myself headache especially the female ones will surprise you. And this behaviours trascends out of school in the adult life generally.

However it does not absolve the lecturer for unethical practices. Bible says resist the devil and he shall flee. On the contrary, they welcomed their laziness, indecency and capitalized on it.

Again, it best we solve this problem from the roots which is to promote values and virtues which our country is seriously lacking. I don't have anything against Mercy of BBN but her selling point was her sensuality. Some masturbates at the sight of her indecency during Saturday's parry. Just recently, I gave another housemate a ride and I swear, she wasn't wearing panties. This is not healthy for us. We are only breeding immorality and the cause is not what we see outside but the lack of home training and poverty mentality that prevails in our society. As long as we keep having indecent and immoral girls, men will always be victims cos that's our biology except the man is impotent. Many try to control it but nobody is perfect.

Madam the lecturer is right on this. Many Nigerians tend to be biased in their approach to matters arising without looking at it from other perspectives.

The lecturer was right in his submission thou. Not every man can withstand seeing matured ladies dressed half naked no matter how spirit filled he is, as men move by what they see. What is the motive of sane lady dressed half naked or revealing what ought to be protected with dignity. I think parents have lot to do on their children by restoring Africa moral values back to society and not oyinbo life styles.we are not oyinbo, we are African. I am not in support of female been sexually harassed but they should also stop harassing men sexually.
