As for Iran, it has been weakened after the sanctions but it is still defiant

As for China, its economy has weakened but it is still going on strong military wise

As for Iran, the targeting of Saudi's Oil installations was an act of desperation by someone pushed to the wall. Trump reduced them to nothing. What the U.S did was unfair but Iran too was becoming too meddlesome.

With Iran's access to less money, I doubt it will have enough funds to maintain the present military strength. It cost lots of money to fund proxy wars in Yemen and Syria for instance. No be beans. It cost money to fund Hamas, Hezbollah and its factions in Iraq.

The op is wrong, Trump didn't threaten Turkey over Isis. He threatened them because of the American allied Kurds whom have enjoyed US protection from Turkish invasion. American doesn't want Turkey to use disproportionate force.
