That's the thing, I don't have a thing for both. I've gone through a better part of their respective filmographies to be objective in this topic. Joaquin is good, but overrated. Cooper is good, but underrated. My smart money has Cooper winning a Oscar in a few years. Cannot say the same for Joaquin.

Just that Phoenix has been acting and dishing our performances for a long time before Brad: more reason why there's an interest in his Oscar contention for Best actor following Joker. Trust me, Cooper's buzz will come.

At the end of the day, arguements like this are subjective. There's enough "best" and "better" for everyone.
