Telling a muslim not to support his fellow muslim is like pouring water into a basket. It will never happen.

I am a middlebelter from Plateau state but I have given up on a united middlebelt struggle involving tribes like Nupes, Ebiras & Bariba people and even to an extent Igalas. Why? These people are predominantly muslims and will readily betray their own future to please the caliphate.
I am now for the unity of only predominantly christian middlebelt tribes like Plateau, Southern Kaduna, Taraba, Nasarawa, Adamawa, FCT and Southern Gombe/Southern Borno, together with Benue.

The only hope for a strong union for the Igbos in Nigeria is with the Niger deltans & northern/middlebelt christian tribes. We may not be a majority but we will be almost half of Nigeria and strong enough to shake the country from it's roots without any fear of anyone betraying each other. Afterall we all have a common opposition in the core-north.

I think this fracas has happened like thrice in the last few years from what I read online.

Masquerades can flog christians, but they will run and never come to challenge these masquerades in a religious view like the Yoruba muslims did. The yoruba muslims were very much aware of the Oro procession but still decided to defy.

No, the problem of the north is religion. Hausas would have been a very progressive and lovely people if the fulanis (Danfodio) hadn't brought in toxic islam through the caliphate.

Hausas were already muslims before Danfodio came but they were mostly folk/liberal muslims like Yorubas are today.

Hausa culture of the old and what hausas call culture today is very very very different. Fulanis have destroyed the Hausa ethnic group.

European Christian Crusades were formed to counter the rapid spread of islam into Europe. Christianity as a religion hardly gives room for extremism which involves killings and wars unless if being pushed.

Elder statesman and Second Republic lawmaker, Junaid Mohammed, on Tuesday said the Igbos are free to carry out their threats of secession if denied the Presidency in 2023.

He admonished politicians from the South-Eastern part of the country who are nursing the idea of becoming President in 2023 to perish the thought.

Speaking in a chat with Daily Independent, Junaid said currently the South -East has not put forward a credible person who is qualified to lead Nigeria.

” I challenge Igbos to secede if they are denied Presidency in 2023. If they don’t secede, let them go to hell. They have tried secession before but they were defeated and failed and they lost over one million people”.

“If they want to secede again because of 2023 politics, they are more than welcome. You think anybody will beg them not to secede?” he asked .

Junaib and his ilk can jump into Argungu. One thing that everyone should know about Igbos is that they don't bluff. What Igbos say they will do, they will surely do.
Igbos did not shy away from a war when the whole nation was against them, let alone now that the Fulanis may not get the same universal support they got from other Nigerians back in the days.
Southsouth is not going Fulani way this time. Middlebelt may not go Fulani way. The only regions that may still do that will be the Southwest and the northeast, but Igbos are way more than a match for those three regions put together.

The line has already been drawn. No Igbo presidency in 2023, no Igbo and possibly Southsouth in Nigeria.

At the moment, it is mainly the poor and the working class in Igboland that are fanatically in support of Biafra. By 2023 presidential primaries, the middle class, the political class and the upper class of Igboland may join in the agitation, and the critical mass buildup will be so explosive that Junaib and his fellow travellers will be scampering for cover.
