Thank u for the contribution, call MS to inform them, where were u when I went to far south south for interview, you are hear online saying something that you have no power to change.... Guy, if your name got shortlisted, you can decide to stay at home because the distance is much OK. If not because one of the requirements is that you must be a graduate and served, I should have said maybe u ain't a graduate or perhaps you were exempted from the nysc....

and u think people coming from calabar, akwa-ibom etc will also cover up in 12hrs ba...

dssc in old site ribadu cantonment since efcc and ssc don pass out while ssc in afaka, new structure dey there, it even saves stress and time

U r supposed to be working on projects like Mars Rover, Jets, Battle Tanks, thats in a sane country, but here, Kalashnikov na ur friend and Metele na ur home, But Engineering ? U r needed for d construction of emergency bridges in the frontlines.
You might be posted to Engineering corp / ordnance or anyone wey army like but that no mean say na chillings because you will be called up for special operations Moreover na SSC.

Some people need special deliverance, e get one SSC cadet like that I know know whether na swear them swear for am from village, dude go colet pass come town come play "Kalokalo" grin . I dey wonder how e dey take save money buy him kaya for training, that one na all him salary e go take dey play game, the way e be that guy, even if them post am go sambisa e must still locate bet9ja shop inside bush.

Truly, the greatest responsibility a man can do is to defend his family and fight for his country.


Ideally, med evac team are supposed to be on standby when soldiers are on patrol or during combat.

Another happened today, and one of the soldiers that went for SSC 45 screening was KIA. He is survived by his wife and 2 kids.
May God rest the souls of gallant men.

Thats unadulterated bravery, they've zeroed their minds for the worst. That's the only way to keep your sanity intact, expect the worst.
I just hope most of them will get psychological support/mental care after their stay in the northeast because PTSD is a terrible thing.

Most times they fight for hours and it's only for the brave. I admire the morale of the troops in NE, it's so heart touching.
I went to one village in Borno sometime back and I was speechless at the bravery of the soldiers there. While I was there Intel came in that boko boys were charging that route oh boy my heart skipped a bit. Before i knew it, all the soldiers were already kitted and heading out gallantly. Thank God there were no casualties that day, they came back with lots of stories on how they repelled the attack. I respect Army NCOs and Officers more than the other arms of service. Those guys have seen death and still stood their ground. Air force and Navy special forces are there also but still. Once you're out there you're not allowed to show emotions. If you make it, both SSC and DSSC, zero your mind for the worst. And if your heart can't take it, don't force it, opt out now while you still can.

The noncommissioned guys are the unsung heroes of this war against insurgency, those guys are the real deal. If I were the COAS majority of the guys coming via SSC/DSSC will be NCOs. It will be a way to compensate them for their sacrifices, Moreover they tend to make better field commanders than fresh graduates because of their experience over the years.

Local man is tired sad

same thing I was told. secretary to the registra said its only students they give the attestation letter. She said as long as you have your original cert, they won't give u.
