so that should now affect millions of Nigeria doing legit work? Do you how many companies these closure has affected? Do you know Nigeria demand from Benin?
So we should allow the unbridled smuggling of cheap imports into the country because of some dubious Nigerians, just take it from me, anytime the Beninese government is ready to behave then our government would follow suit.

don't worry by January next year if these borders are not opened you guys in the city will feel the heat of border closure. Go and ask those who buy cars before the ban of tokubo cars on land border. They will tell you how cars are expensive. Now you close border. By next year bag of rice would be #30k, cooking oil Gerry can #18k. 7.5% VAT. Just remember this
Mumu.

You are still relying on imported foods for your analysis.

By January, local production would have at least doubled.

VAT is not applicable to basic food items,

I hope after reading the link you will find time to go to any land border to confirm for your self and see spoilt and stranded goods at the border. For your information, smugglers are still having their way at the border but this closure only affects those doing legit work. Please confirm before you argue
Let's all SAY NO TO SMUGGLING

Why go that route ...why not remove petrol subsidy in total and let the FGN subsidize, from Primary to Tertiary level including vocational institutions for its citizens and you'll witness significant drop in poverty, hunger, communicable-preventable diseases, maternal mortality and many more...
Security of lives and property comes first in every human endeavour. Your thoughts are good though.

Buhari will go down in history as the best Nigerian president.
He has the balls to take decisions that will move the country forward.
If the likes of Bola Tinubu are the best we Yorubas can put forward, then our constitution should be amended so that GMB can continue beyond 2023. (The Igbos should never be allowed to smell that seat).

If they totally remove petrol subsidy,Nigerians will all die in 2 days undecided
That's why.
Also, quality education is hardly free anywhere in the world, not even the charade going on in Germany is free undecided
Buhari said he didn't understand what subsidy was about when he was campaigning.

If the borders are open in January....

Then what was the whole thing for....

What is the gain....

Just like in 84....

Noise, plenty of noise, yet more noise.... then.... nothing.

Government is run based on programs, not policies alone. Programs that fit into a plan. A plan that is the product of a vision. A vision you sell to people who will naturally tap into it to make it work.

Leadership is not hard of you ultimately know how.
