Alhaji Adamu Song, a former national chairman of dead Alliance for Democracy (AD) and ex general secretary of NUPENG, has revealed why Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, is not strong in Adamawa state.

The northern stateman in an interview with The Sun also spoke about why it would be a difficult thing for the North to elect any Igbo candidate come 2020.

When he was asked about the unpredictability nature of politics in Adamawa and how it seems as if it is controlled about external forces, Song said that electorates int states are some of the advanced ones in the country.

On the reasons why Atiku is not strong in his state, he said no one can really spend for the PDP’s candidate’s cause without having to send the bill to him.

“Very well; the reasons are numerous. One; among the supporters of Atiku in Adamawa state, there is no one who can spend as much as N10 million for the cause of Atiku without sending the bill to him,” he said.
