Could you expanciate on "as with any Mazda once it starts giving problems...". What are the problems you are referring to plz? What are the peculiar problem with Mazda car?

I will base my decision to get this car on inputs on this. I'm already in love with the car. I was considering Toyota Picnic but the car is just bland with no ecstasy n used mostly for commercial purposes.

Thanks for all comments

They don't respond to not having routine maintenance or "kazeeming" well. Don't maintain properly, you're looking at engine and transmission problems quickly. Mess with the electrical and it starts a Domino effect.

This one looks like it was owned by a little old lady who hardly drove it grin. Ask amdman to check it for you if you're really interested. If it is what I think it is, all you'll need did oil changes and routine maintenance and it will serve you well for years.

This is a GOOD one if it really has no faults. Someone better jump on this quick.

Hello madam Radautoworks, please why do say this car is a good. From my research the car WAs only manufactured in Canada, how is the availability of parts (headlight, bumper etc) , does it share engine and transmission with any other Honda. Any major issues?

Not entirely correct. Have you ever owned one?

I drove a Mazda 626 1999 model from 2003-2014 before switching vehicles. No major problems whatsoever despite using it DAILY and even for traveling.

That same Mazda was sold last year after it had been parked from 2014 till 2018, and the buyer still uses it though, he uses it for commercial purposes and isn't maintaining it (body is now rough with broken rear lights) but, I see him almost every week and, it is still working and serving him daily.

you want to compare a 1999 mazda with no complex engineering with a 2005 mazda

Must you insult?
Why the 'senseless' statement? He gave his sincere view as what he knows about Mazda without insulting anyone. You could have as well countered him without insults.

Let's act mature and stop acting like kids. Only kids insult like this at every opportunity, no mature adults will act like this.

sometimes I wonder the kinda kids behind keypads in this forum, must u insult him?

Madza isn't a bad car, I once owned 1. Rugged and strong. Just that thier engine isn't that strong compared to Toyota. Parts are also cheap.

I watched that video myself, and it's really disheartening seeing someone's hard earned money stolen in such manner. The person will have to buy all the 4 tyres again. The buyer may think it's the hand of the agents, not knowing it's workers.

Those guys changed everything in less than 2-3 minutes. I wish they could be caught and expelled or jailed.

I want to buy the mazda5 but I am a little afraid. Just paying money to someone you hardly know. I just called him but he was driving. Promsed to call back. Please I need People who have already bought to vouch for him bikonu. And I also need it in Abuja and I don't have a single penny to add and he should please promise me that they are no faults at all, I don't know how to manage faults, please AMDman you really need to do thorough inspection because I am not ready to visit any mechanic for now, I don't have the time and money.

Please car experts and customers who have already bought should comment on this.

I want to pay and wait in my house in Abuja for the car, I don't want to know anything about agents, etc. Please help me make up my mind cos I love the car and it will be my first car, yes I am a family man, 3 chidren. Thanks.

Dude, go to the auto market closest to you, do your inspection, get yourself someone to vouch for the auto dealer, get them to document all the promises you seek, buy your Mazda and wait to take delivery in your house. You seek who to blame. This thread isn't for you.

This is not fair.
Not fair at all.
The reason we use this process is to cut cost and be actually sure is really a tokumbo.

You want to buy a 13 yr old vehicle and want it to be in condition of brand new vehicle. My suggestion: You should step into Coscharis Car Mart and make them smile.

You want the vehicle to fly into Abuja from Lagos? My suggestion: patronise Edo Airways Lol.

On a serious note, it will cost you money to move it up to Abuja. Make sure tires and everything are alright before it embarks on the long journey. We no wan hear village people story

Finally go to cartalk section and learn how to maintain a car. Whatever your Kazeem mechanic says always confirm it first from their.

Good luck.

If all you have is 1.2m, you shouldn't be buying a car of 1.2m. How about the vehicle registration, cost of delivery to you in Abuja? And like someone mentioned, it's not a brand new car. Having one or two fixes to make even in a Tokunbo car is not unusual.

My advice, save a little more. Don't worry about losing this deal. When you have enough money, there will always be a better deal if you're patient enough.
