I want to buy the mazda5 but I am a little afraid. Just paying money to someone you hardly know. I just called him but he was driving. Promsed to call back. Please I need People who have already bought to vouch for him bikonu. And I also need it in Abuja and I don't have a single penny to add and he should please promise me that they are no faults at all, I don't know how to manage faults, please AMDman you really need to do thorough inspection because I am not ready to visit any mechanic for now, I don't have the time and money.

Please car experts and customers who have already bought should comment on this.

I want to pay and wait in my house in Abuja for the car, I don't want to know anything about agents, etc. Please help me make up my mind cos I love the car and it will be my first car, yes I am a family man, 3 chidren. Thanks.

If that is the case, do not buy Mazda 5 as your first car.
Who knows, the first kazeem to touch the car for minor servicing might kill and bury the car on arrival...
So please stick with a popular brand as your first car. ...don't go and learn the hard way o.
You'll buy Mazda later.
Mazda is a very sensitive car.(newer models)

Nice thread....this is my first post on here. I'm an ardent follower of the thread.
Nice work, keep it up sir.

Lol.. your 1.2M can only buy 1998 toks corolla, or used 2004 corolla.. it is better to buy Mazda 5 at 1.2 than those 2 options..

Corolla isn't for you because it is VERY expensive. Look for some Honda products, perhaps amdman could get you Honda oddysey with that 1.2m, though I doubt.

If all you have is 1.2m, you shouldn't be buying a car of 1.2m. How about the vehicle registration, cost of delivery to you in Abuja? And like someone mentioned, it's not a brand new car. Having one or two fixes to make even in a Tokunbo car is not unusual.

My advice, save a little more. Don't worry about losing this deal. When you have enough money, there will always be a better deal if you're patient enough.

Wanted to say this but didn't want to derail thread. He is not ready for a car purchase.

Anyone who's truly ready to make purchase will not have a prepared mind to look for who to blame even when a fault is not spotted. That's called Predetermined trouble.

Problem never arise you don create am.

And realistically, brand new car go visit store for normal check even within first few months, it's a normal maintenance! Not to talk of used one.

This is what i have to say.
For about 5 months now since amdman started this thread here, there have been no story of fraud. Rather a few people have testified and gave him positive reviews. And he keeps shipping in containers upon containers of cars. Na people dey buy them no be ghost and no complaints yet. You still have to be careful thou because humans are not perfect.

Frankly your exactly 1.2m will not be enough. You will have to bump it up just slightly, to cover the cost of investigating the car and also transporting the car from lag. And who knows, maybe some other miscellaneous. So its up to you.
Since this is your first car you are probably naive, so i'll tell you straight up that buying a good car does not end there. You will steadily and continously spend money on it(parts&maintenance) to keep it running in good condition. Except its a brand new car. Then its just maintenance.

You want to buy a 13 yr old vehicle and want it to be in condition of brand new vehicle. My suggestion: You should step into Coscharis Car Mart and make them smile.

You want the vehicle to fly into Abuja from Lagos? My suggestion: patronise Edo Airways Lol.

On a serious note, it will cost you money to move it up to Abuja. Make sure tires and everything are alright before it embarks on the long journey. We no wan hear village people story

Finally go to cartalk section and learn how to maintain a car. Whatever your Kazeem mechanic says always confirm it first from their.

Good luck.
