I remember it took even nairaland complaint calling for Innoson to expand beyond the east. This was before the emergence of JAC.
Now JAC has a based in Lagos and possibly expanding. I see more of their vehicles than Innoson.

We have all seen photos of innoson factories
90% labor. Labor is cheap in this country
So how is it that a vehicle is being sold at 100 to 150 % above its cost, even with all the government incentives?

Simply put, Your man is trying to sell firman generators at Honda / Yamaha generator prices.

Any Nigerian considering an innoson car, who does a little research will figure this out, and that will be a lost customer. Plastic is a big environmental problem.

The wastages or cuttage in any plastic factory is always crushed and reused for less valuable products. Ie In house.
Innoson abviously does this or he will not be profitable.
As per products already sold, you have a whole industry out there consisting of scavengers etc that gather used plastic which they sell to recyclers who then sell the materials to plastic factories such as innoson.

His products are of good quality, I bought some of his plastic chairs since 2011 and they are still there, still in very good condition

This is what I have always advocated. You cannot have a civil servant or retired soldier run a country. This people are called "government pikin". Ie from little age the joined civil service have been taken care of all their lives by public purse. They get their salaries or steal money. They do not understand the dynamics of having 100 naira and turning it to 150 naira.
