The President will never be in support of drug abuse. That is why there are no drugs there. Besides, the Vice President who is a pastor is an apostle of divine healing. Those men practice what they preach. |

Still the same Nigeria problem of not following due process Every hospital should have a drug revolving fund where the head of Pharmacy and the hospital finance director must be signatories. This fund is soley for drug purchase for the hospital alone where hospital can buy from the pharmaceutical companies and pay. If adequately managed this fund grow astronomically within a short period and the hospital pharmacy become self sufficient where all it drug needs are met. Where there is shortage of drugs it simply means the hospital is owing her drug suppliers, and they are unwilling to supply her more until outstanding is paid. We have a situation where individuals not in pharmacy or even the medical director have access to this fund and use for other purpose other than drugs. In some state like Niger state , state governor even dip their hands into this fund and use it for political activities |

This same hospital receives around one billion naira every year ever since Buhari came into government. Yet, there is nothing to show for it. |

Asked about the drug scarcity, he said the situation was not the same as before, adding that any challenges the hospital still faces can be tackled if there was timely release of budgetary allocations to the clinic. With the huge allocation going in to the clinic every year, except maybe the funds are embezzled as usual, paucity of funds should not even come up. Even regular clinics with far less budget is that bad. |

Awefatblock28:Since we want to support local and indigenous growth, can we close the borders of medical tourism too, especially for public officials? Until we do that, this border closure is meaningless. |

pharmagba:That matter here is simple... Allocation is being shared by a privileged few... Efcc is somewhere chasing undergraduates, leaving such weightier matters of deep seated financial misappropriation. |

ITxBUSH:Jesus is calling you today! Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many will seek to enter and will not be able. Jesus is the way to eternal life; no one comes to the Father, but by Him. Repent and accept Jesus today as your personal Lord and saviour; He will keep you safe when every other thing fails. It is very important to make this all important decision today, and if you have already accepted Jesus into your life, continue to follow Jesus all the way. He will shepherd you so that you find pasture in this life, and also in the life to come. - Copied |

This clinic needs to be shut down. It gulps about N1 billion a year and the president still engages in medical tourism all at the expense of tax payers pockets |
