Learn an IT skill in nigeria basically means go and learn Web design. That field will soon be oversaturated, there are other areas of expertise in IT, why only web design is popular, Networking is there, Android apps are there, so on and so forth.

Or could it be that it is the most easy to learn?

Pls name some of the profitable it courses?

The important thing is to be very good at what ever course you choose ayt.

You can learn Graphic Design: Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Corel Draw and even Paint.

Web development: Backend(PhP, Java, Python) and/or Frontend(Html, Css and Javascript).

Networking: CCNA

Computer repairs and maintenance

2D and 3D modelling.

here are just a few of the skills you can learn in IT and make it.

Choose the one you have affinity and passion for and go for it with all you got.
