The victims of the fire incident were relieved with joy this morning following the visit of the former governor of Anambra state, His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi as he went to sympathise and commiserate with them over the calamity that befell on them two days ago. He was accompanied to the scene by the Senator representing Anambra Central and member representing Nnewi north, south and Ekwusigo Fed. Constituency, Senator Uche Ekwunife and Hon. Chris Azubogu. Recall that in the year 2015, during the xenophobia attack on Nigerians in South Africa, Mr. Peter Obi was the only high profile Nigerian that deemed it fit to travel and sympathize with our brothers in the country.
