During my secondary school days in my hometown there was a calabash that must not been seen when carried and the instant consequence is death but out of curiosity from a storey building I sighted it although those carrying it didn't see me but I didn't die it's now 11yrs
Back then in primary school while in Ibadan living with my aunt, I have an uncle who came all the way from a village in ondo state for visitation he claimed to have a special charm he bragged about this too often that it caught the attention of one of our neighbors, at first the neighbor who was a driver asked whether he could follow him to the village to have a kind of enchanted protection against cutlass, bullets, accident etc my uncle assured him that if the important ingredients could be got that he would do it without going to the village, my uncle said "that is what I do for living" But on one fateful morning on Saturday while having breakfast there was a long fight among some thugs my uncle heard the noise and went there with confidence. It was not up to half an hour that we saw three men carrying him with blood all over his body. Information told us that he was injured severely while trying to stop the fight in a violent way. My neighbor was shocked and disappointed not even minding some eye witness praising my uncle for his bravery and courage
