He sure deserved those.awards. His flow is tight and he always tells a story, he always critiques society in very meaningful ways.unlike the others who only scream about alcohol and pussy.

Wizkid and Davido no need this award again. They have gained a lot of it. Na the money be the main tin not some useless award

Headies, the most tribalistic award show in Nigeria.

Don't believe me, check its origin and winners from when it started till now. You will notice that a lot of deserving winners are always marginalized just to promote one's culture. Sad

well deserved..He's a comic rap Gee like Busta Rhymes.. He's not a lyricist or hardcore rapper but he's quite better than M.I and the few rest combine..no more rappers in naija after the Era of dagrin and Mode 9..M.I is a rhymer,not a punchline killer..

A lot of people won't agree with you just because he doesn't sound like the Americans.

I like the way he rap,the way he play on words,his voice and the way he delivers them.

Say whatever you like. Falz is like the Nas/Common/J-cole of the Nigerian rap scene. His last album is a classic. I've never seen a rapper in Nigeria put so much knowledge in a body of work. His music speaks of the the ills in society in a style and language the man in the street can relate with. The story telling is on point. That's what's music is suppose to be about. Rhythm and message. Not Americanized boasts and insults

For a country whose rap music followership is very low,..... People go for pangolone rap songs which is what Falz do anyway,....... Olamide is too Yoruba, Phyno is too Igbotic lyrically. MI and Vector only just woke up to Diss themselves. So Falz takes the day, apart from the fact that most of his songs address our social problems

Falz has good lyrics in his flow and it tells stories about with the society,he was nominated at the just concluded BETaward but lost to sarkodie in that category


That guy Falz is something special in the rap game and he's more lyrically fit than your favorite rapper M.i that was murder by a singer Kelly handsome

I swear down I was about to say the same thing. The guy is very good. When he gets featured with other artistes, he outshines them all with lyrical content and lyrical progression, what this implies is that you can visualize his lyrics and play it out like a movie in your head.
Let’s take these few songs as a case study (though I can’t remember their names lol)

1. The song where a DJ featured Ycee and Falz
2. The song where Ice prince featured Phyno and Falz
3. The only where Olamide, Falz and Timaya were on the same song.

Take a listen to them and be the judge but In my opinion, Falz’s verse slayed them all, but I stand to be corrected.

Like for Falz or share for the remaining rappers in 2019

Make una congratulate the guy and move on na. Una dey complain, asking wetin him dey sing to take win, but una no mention anybody una thought was better this past year.
