But these cars are 3 decades apart. I'm scratching my head to figure out the basis for the comparism. Besides, I doubt the fuel consumption figures for the Benz.

I agree 100per, I remember in 2001 driving from mokwa to Kaduna , the roads then In Niger State were horrible, but the comfort on the mercerdes was something else we were literarily gliding on potholes at speeds above 100km/hr, the 3 series BMW was also doing a good job behind me.
