It's just the organisers of Headies I pity most.

Headies was to flop 2 years ago, but Wizkid came to the venue at the last minute to save the day.
This 2019, they knew Starboy fest by Wizkid was that day before they fixed Headies but went on to retain that date.

Now, less than a 3 hours after Headies, it isn't in the news or trending. Naira Marley, Davido and Wizkid took over.

Serves Headies right. When they brought Regina Daniel's greedy mother onstage to present an award and gave Rita Daniels actress of the year, I knew Headies is finished.

It's no longer an award, it is now an award hire purchase centre. You pay money and come to collect award at the end of the year.
