Shehu said Buhari would hold security talks with President Vladimir Putin at the sideline of the Russia-Nigeria Summit, fixed for between October 23 and 25, 2019.

That's if they acquire an archaic jet. Stealth fighter jets can't be brought down easily.
S-400 would be a good option but the money will be diverted and cheap one will, at the end of the day be what is acquired.

This trip, Buhari will mist likely sign.a deal for MI 28NE helicopters if Russians offer it.
For those posting pictures of jets, Adesina did not mention jet aircraft but fighter helicopters. Only MI 28NEs are the choppers Nigeria does not have now.
They are faster, deadlier and carry more stand off weapons than MI 35Ms that we have now and they dont carry troops

the sad things is, we cant make those jets ourselves, even pakistan and india makes their own fighter jets and buy some,
