It is truly unlimited. Alapere, lagos is my area.. i get between 700kbps to 3mbps and it serves me just fine. There are days where doesn't even do 1mbps but it still serves me..

So far, ive used 53Gb and the month hasnt ended.

Is it the 17,500 unlimited plan you use?

i convered 300gb in two days and i nor de steady on top pc..... if u live in a glo 4g area.. bros u go enjoy...just that its expensive....50k now.. used to be 80k

Last time I checked Ntel was the only network that offers true unlimited plans at such an affordable rate (this was before they recently increased price of some of their cheap plans). So you can't really blame people for wanting Unlimited data even tho their network speed can not even be called LTE/4G.

Up until 2 weeks ago I was on their unlimited classic night plan for 5k (now 10k) and it served me better than most network with crazy network speed had served be with their capped data. I was able to download more than 300gb worth of downloads before the plan expired . I doubt I would be going back to them now but i just wanted to get that out of the way.

Would have loved to try out smile but unfortunately they are only in Lagos so you shouldn't blame people for patronizing Ntel, not many unlimited affordable ISP's around.

Because they increased the unlimited night plan I was on from 5k to 10k and changed the time that was previously 10pm - 5am, to 12am - 7am.

It's now expensive and the new time doesn't sit well with me.

So a marketer for Smile Network came to market their network to me.
Seriously, how do these people do it. Its obvious their data plans are currently not worth it. Yet they still push their plans like it is best thing since sliced bread and jam.

The 1GB I did for N1000 was a regret. The speed was nothing special. I get more on Airtel...sometimes up to 1.8MBps (Megabyte not megbit per second) on a hot busy afternoon.

I offered to do a speed test which she codedly declined. Lol, inside life.

Will be managing my Airtel. Not unlimited but very much worth it IMO.
