What exactly were they supposed to do? We dont have the economic leverage we need against SA to nip this thing in the bud. Our government can't do nothing to stop this except through retaliatory economic actions.

Look at what's going on in neighboring west African countries for instance. Imagine any of such countries treat nigerians this way. The threat of border closure alone would be enough deterrent.

It is up to the South African government to put an end to this.
