The price of local rice after closing border is around 19k and foreign rice is above 20k so this your post doesn't add up.

The price of local rice has never gone down to 6k since the coming of APC.

This OP is a terrible liar.
This video is an old video. (I think two years or so)
It was actually some rice dealers taking out one derica from each bag in other to form another bag.
So, instead of 10 bags, they get 11 and still sell it at the normal price.
Meaning instead of 50KG, you're buying 45KG for a 50KG price, cos they know we don't go to the market with a weighing scale.

Meanwhile.....

If you have some cash lying dormant in your account, it's time to make it reproduce.
Take that cash and go up north, buy rice and take it to the south and I promise you, you will not regret this investment. Just study the market in your end, make one or two enquiries and you're good to go.

Don't worry about where to get good rice (long grains) in the north cos I have you covered on that.

As for the lazy youths complaining of price, this is the time to go to farm. Believe me not only rice will be expensive next year.

This is a good time to be a farmer.
