This is good. You would have killed this platform. I that visit more times daily, reduced the frequency since contents are contaminated. Porn in a post that is meant to educate. Not yet late. Thanks for this action. We still have good minds here.

Seun... I want to make a proposal, let every new account have a trial period of one month before they can be fully activated to post or comment.... You will agree that those guys spamming the forum are new accounts, when a new account is created, its under probation period of one month such that if such user goes against the rule, its ban or suspended, he knows he can't open a new one to try such and so he will be respectful, we will have a forum devoid of hate, spam and porn.

Let every new account be under probation of one month, once you break any rule, you are banned, so you know you can't misbehave, insult or spam the forum anyhow.

Please look this and I believe this is the best solution for the tribal attacks we having here

Not sure that would fully solve the issue. These spammers will just create a batch of accounts and wait for 1 month to activate them, so today for instance he will simply use the accounts he created a month ago. It's best to block the IP.

Using the report button only hides the post from the reporter’s view. Many times the moderators overlook these accounts.

Instead of you expecting nairalanders to report such why not censor posts and comments that has such disturbing words and images?

You did it to some words why don't you augment your technicalities on images also?

The mods never follow through on Rule 20. Some of the Mods on here are too ignorant and Illiterate!

They ban without doing proper and thorough investigation.

Any fool on here can report you to a mod for an offense that doesn't even correlate to anything and the mod would follow suit without proper investigation...

Your report button doesn't work, it only deletes the reported message for the reporter while others still sees it. Reason why some Nairaland members quote mods for quick action.

Let Seun work on the report button to always alert the mod in charge of each section
