Are there no Igbos in APC? Have you thought of looking beyond politics but national integration? Yorubas have ruled, Hausa-Fulani has ruled, equity demands that the Igbos should rule but you look for excuse to deny them! hollah123: |

Let the competition be between Yoruba and Igbo, then we would teach them that hatred leads to failure. |

Coldie:You are a misguided element. In 1999, nobody believed the North would cede power to the South given the near-absolute dominance of the North in the national political history. Yet Obasanjo became President having defeat a fellow Yorubaman.... Igbo presidency will happen. It is an idea whose time has come On what basis would the rest of Nigeria expect the Igbos to jettison the quest for secession if the Igbos are denied a bite at the cherry? Commonsence dictates the something will definitely give... |

RTSC:And that's what we are saying, u guys have slaved for PDP enough, beg PDP to give their presidential flag to an Igbo man, let APC give theirs to Osibanjo(star boy) and let's slug it out. Obi will received the worst defeat in history of the presidential election in Nigeria. Obi that is not even relevant in his own Anambra talk less of Nigeria. Nonsense. |
| Re: 2023: Igbo Leaders In Strong Push For Presidency by DMerciful(m): 8:51pm On Oct 27, 2019 |
You see how you focus on individualism. I should mention the Igbo politicians in APC who has not been compensated? So this takes care of the aspirations of millions of Igbos? If you feel strongly about the Igbos not becoming president just now when clearly it's their turn , why do you insist Igbos must be part of Nigeria? You can't be with someone you don't want to be with! hollah123: |

DMerciful:u are just arguing aimlessly cos u are been emotional with your argument. stop twisting my words, I am not saying an igbo man can't become president but apc can never give an igbo man ticket, go n meet pdp n leave me alone. don't disturb me again |
| Re: 2023: Igbo Leaders In Strong Push For Presidency by DMerciful(m): 9:04pm On Oct 27, 2019 |
So if PDP gives Igbo ticket and APC gives Yoruba tivket and if Yoruba wins due to their advantage of having same religion with the north, won't that make Yoruba rule twice as president when the Igbos has not done once? Was this the way Yorubas were given both tickets in 1999? You said I should not disturb you because the unethical position you're taking is beginning to get to you. hollah123: |

omenka:We don't need to go far to get the message. 1999 General election was arranged to pacified Yorubas as a result of annuled 1993 June 12 election believed to have won by MKO, a Yoruba man. One man (Obasanjo) was adjudged to be more Yoruba than the other (olu falae). So, my Igbo people let's source for one Igbo man that will be adjudged as more Igbo than any other Igbo candidates on the race. |

danot1030:PDP wants to return to power. They want people that can deliver victory. I doubt they will give to Igbo. The best they will do is probably put a Northerner as Presidential candidate and Ibo as VP again. Ibos themselves have proposed this as a better idea. You see...they dont have confidence in their own capacity. PDP does not believe Ibo is good enough as its flag bearer anyway. Anything to defeat APC, PDP will do....and they know an Ibo candidate will never ever get that for them. So they will go with Ibo proposal to zone it against South and give North but put an Iboman as VP. The people that will oppose and destroy that arrangement within PDP have already been planted. Yoruba na taskmaster, we know how to accomplish goals. We are determined to accomplish 2023 Presidency. Ibo na noisemaker, they know how to raise noise decibel and disturb and pressure everyone with wailing. Even in PDP we will frustrate Ibo in any position given to them. 2023 is a task! |

RTSC:I say what political clout does he have and you return to say he was "impeached" and won back his mandate. A man of political clout should never be impeached! His opponent Obiano won elections back to back, this is testimony that whatever influence Obi had in Anambra has been destroyed. What is Obi's political structure in Anambra? He has none. Charles Soludo has more crdibility in Anambra than Obi. Biancah Ojukwu will raise more money in a political rally in Anambra than Obi can ever do. |

RTSC:Donated the power but nothing to show for it .that is why you are chesty of political power now which now leaded you people to support anything that will end Nigeria simply because your people lost small political power PDP gave to them since 1999 yet nothing to show for it .This has showed how you people are greedy ,lack of good leadership and non productivity of your leaders .The Nigeria that you clamoured for its end is now the same Nigeria you want a political power from now. Pls Where is KANU and your Biafra ? You people are shameless. |

DMerciful:APC can never give the ticket to the SE because even the SE votes against APC all the time. The SE calls APC an Islamic party with an Islamization agenda, so why all of a sudden are the SE interested in the APC ticket if not to ensure APC loses? By the way, there are lots of parties through which the SE dream could be achieved. Even CUPP that litters cyberspace with their trash could be a starting point. |
