For you guys comparing which car is faster than the other here, you guys are kind of arguing blindly. you guys aren't taking into account that there's a difference BTW acceleration and top speed and different factors contribute to those two. You guys aren't taking into account:

The weight of the cars
The horsepower and torque figures of the cars
The powerbands
power delivery curves of both cars (basically, the power delivery character of both engines)
The transmissions, how they're tuned to perform, how many gear ratios, how close they are or not and what type of gear ratios they have (whether long or short)
Whether any of them has a forced induction system in the engine
The tuning of the engine computer (either for performance or for fuel economy)

And other factors I may not be able to remember
