This is nothing but oppression. I am surprised that people are praising the government. When you have refuse/waste in your house and government agents are not coming to move them; what should the people do? I expect the entire street to revolt. Mere looking at the pictures, it's obvious LAWMA waste truck can't even access the street.

What I see here is irresponsible government, blaming others for her failure.

My people of obodo Nigeria, when will you grow and have sense? The only time our leaders talk about international best practices is when they want to share political positions. But to learn how other countries solve problems, they will never learn. The idea of arresting people for wrong ways of waste disposal is totally unproductive. Let me suggest what i think will work.
1. Create a waste management system that is based on council areas (since its state govt that appoints councillors and local government chairman instead of election)
2 . Make landlords/house owner responsible for waste disposal in their properties (just like in America). the landlord is responsible when there is fines and fees regarding wrong waste disposal.
3. Levy should be paid every month by the landlord, failure to pay will attract late payment fees, refusal to pay will lead to being served with court notice.

Hisss, i don't have time to share all my thoughts here.
