As a follow up to Governor Sanwo-Olu’s directive and pronouncement on zero tolerance to improper waste disposal, the Enforcement team of LAWMA, on Sunday 27th of October apprehended the parents of the children who emptied bags of waste into the drainage channel in front of their house during a heavy downpour in the course of the week in Aboru area of Lagos State.


According to a statement released by the state government the parents of these children would be prosecuted according to the law because this attitude and several others that have gone unnoticed are contributory factors to flooding issue being experienced in some quarters across the State.


The arrest of these individuals followed a video that revealed this misdemeanor on the social media during the week.

Besides, All the roads both federal and States in Lagos are collapsing, yet no one to fix. You take one way, the parasites called lastma are their to arrest and explore you, you intend to avoid braking one way law, you are forced to take the well and gullies on our major roads, the urchins are there to force you to the deepest places of the bad portion , telling you it's the best part, and when you are stuck, they give you heavy bills in order for them to help you move your motor out of the hole. They shouldn't send them to jail, they should use them for community service for two months
