My 2003 Toyota Corolla threw up 2 error codes

P0325 knock sensor 1 circuit bank 1 or single sensor

P1349 variable valve timing system fault

Please assist with possible fix(es)

repair history? Did car overheat

No. Car didn’t overheat

It’s a tokunbo car bought in March or so. Only servicing, I think I’ve changed the coils also

Help me help you, what kind of car is it? Take clear pics of the engine showing the timing chain/timing belt area.

Also take pics of the valve cover.

possible issues.

1. Sludge.

2. Incorrect timing settings

3. Possible vvti actuator faulty or not set properly

4. Reconnect the knock sensor (this shows some Hanley panky has been going on in the supposedly toks vehicle)

I see no logic in one oil being able to substitute for a variety of oil weights and viscosities .

Something is fishy.

My 2005 Toyota highlander transmission was replaced. I am now experiencing clunking noise each time I shift from park to Reverse. Other gear do not make such noise.

Also experiencing rough shoot when in motion. I had to scan it with my bluetooth scanner. Got below error codes:

1. P0420
2. P2716

Please your kind assistance will be really appreciated.

Hi Gazzuz, the images below are my corolla 2010, I noticed the seeming crack /welding few days after it was bought. There's no check engine light, nor any light on the dashboard. However I average 40-42 miles per 1,000 of fuel, that is 6.89L which is way below. Using 26mpg combined, this 6.89L ought to give me 53miles.

Now I noticed from the VIN reports that the car had been reprogrammed in the US in 2017, before it was imported to Nigeria in 2019. This made me think the Catalyst was tampered in the US.
What could possibly be the reason for the seeming high fuel consumption and how can it be resolved.

What price range will it cost to install spacers including Workmanship and will it have appreciable better mileage

Please am about to but a 2008 Acura MDX tech package but I wanna know from those with the experience. I wanted to go for rx330 but it's not as fast as my Honda pilot or as engaging as my Honda pilot. Please How's the ride and power compared to Honda pilot 2005 which am currently driving & other common v6's available & is it maintenance friendly ?

I'll find my email. I repeatedly asked your guy and he said they scanned it. Few weeks after, I went to top up my AC, and the AC guy using a minute OBD tester found error code about spark plug stuff.
Seriously I doubted if the scan was done because he said there was no check engine light. It should be in June or so when the car was just a month old.

Code could have popped up since then but please let me know when you find date so I can check myself.
