My good friend,

I would NEVER advice anybody to put what Toyota didn’t put in his vehicle.

I had a 2009 matrix. The AC acted just the way you have described yours. I entered into that manual compressor business. I changed every part of the AC system about 4 times, costing me above 300k.

Later, I went to Elizade, and asked them to change every AC part to original state, and the bill was N199,000.

I didn’t have the money to do it, I sold the car.

Hello sir,
I am currently having AC issues with my car Toyota Camry 2009 model xle. The AC will suddenly top cooling. At first, when I turn it off and restart it will continue cool.
Recently the AC stopped cooling. I went to a Refill and it was discovered that the condenser had injury which was welded and a refill was done. after the refill, The AC cooled only when on high speed. it will stop cooling once I slow down and will not pick until after several minutes. I visited several AC technician and their verdict was my compressor's was bad and it can stop working altogether anytime from now. They all advised not to buy the same compressor that came with the car but to replace with a manual compressor.
I am not comfortable with replacing the original compressor with manual I am not also not convinced that the compressor is bad. please i need your help.

Big uncle,

Please untie this for me.

I’m considering a 2005 Lexus ES330 or 2005 Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor.

Consider my car use history and advise based on what you think would serve me, in terms of maintenance cost and daily running.

1. My first car was Carina E. Sold it because I was tired.

2. 1999 Toyota Sienna. Sold it because I wasn’t enjoying the fuel economy.

3. 2005 Toyota Corolla sport. Sold it because it was affected by flood; water got into the car and covered up to the steering wheel.

4. 2006 Toyota Matrix. Sold it for an upgrade.

5. 2009 Toyota Matrix. Sold it because the AC stressed me for about 2years.

I’d appreciate if, in your usual manner, you’d be thorough in detailing the merits and demerits of each option.

Thanks. More growth in your empire!

If you are going down a hill and you put your car in reverse, it is normal for the car to roll forward small until step on gas pedal?
Re: ASK GAZZUZZ by lexini: 7:45pm On Oct 08, 2019
Good evening Gazzuz

I travelled and my wife has been driving my car for the past week, just got back home and as I started the car, it didn't sound right so I scanned it and got the following codes:

P2196 sensor signal biased/stuck rich bank 1 sensor 1

P0300 random/multiple misfire detected

P0301 cylinder 1 misfire detected

P0303 cylinder 3 misfire detected

P0305 cylinder 5 misfire detected

P0172 System too rich bank 1

P0174 system too lean bank 2

Please advise on the meaning of each code and possible fixes.

Also, there was a smell as if something is burning - I started the car soon as soon as my wife returned with it so engine was still hot.

well for starters it is a V configuration engine.

You have very faulty precatalytic O2 sensor on bank 1 (1 sensor 1) reporting to the ecu.

The ecu is interpreting the information and enriching the combustion system causing misfires.

Replace the oxygen sensor and clean the spark plugs. Car will be fine

I'm sure you are either playing or didnt get my question

The question is this. If you are in an sloppy place and you put your car in reverse. Is it normal for the car while on reverse to move forward because you are yet to step on gas?

Good evening Mr Gazzuzz,
How is work and family? I want to appeal for a donation of obd 2 scanner machine of your choice. The laptop assisted OLM 327 that I have been using to educate and scan free for Abuja residents just went bad.

And I do not have cash to get another laptop for now. May the Lord bless you as you assist me with a small scanner that didn't need a laptop to work.

May your light continue to shine for in Jesus name. Amen. God bless you sir.

Good day Gazzuzz, I noticed that my car (corolla 04) was not driving smooth. I scanned the car and got the following codes P0420 (catalyst system efficiency below threshold (bank 1). and P0450. Please, what's the solution to these codes?

The way you asked this question !!! I want to assume you are not going down on that slope then you just intend to shift to reverse. If you are initially parked on the hill and want to ascend(whether R or D) it's possible your car goes in the opposite direction till you press the gas pedal. This is because unlike on a level ground, gravity will act on your car and if more than the power of the engine without gas, you will have to give the engine more power to counter gravity
