This is wrong. Look at how they are treated like criminals. This is just a misdemeanor that can be handled with a fine and some form of community service running into months but they are just parading them like some hardened criminals.

This is how for three days there was a smell of decaying flesh. I thought there was a dead rat in the house, but I could not find it. I found that some arse hole in the neighbourhood had dumped rotting meat by the road, probably in the dead of the night.

That is how we inconvenience everybody because we want to save a buck

People in this country unfortunately, need iron hand so they can know what is right. By now everyone knows part of the reason for floods is blocked drains, but people still continue to dump trash in the drains. This attitude goes back to the 80s.

After some people will say the government is not doing anything about it do you expect the government to come clean your closet when they say don’t throw refuse in the gutter we will say their mouth is smelling now erosion every where.. we never see anything expect a bigger rain next year and see what happened again and forget they have open their dam and it is coming towards Nigeria l hope we are prepare for it

While we should all condemn the illegal dumping of refuse (assuming a proper alternative exists)...
The people who should have arrested are those who collect taxes and yet leave a "street" (if you can call it that) in the following condition.! angry

I'd even think the first thing to do would be to legislate that every building must have a drum in front.

Then employ more private waste collectors, thereby creating jobs. That would be more effective and sustainable in the long run.
