So with 300k, this can be fixed.

The budget will be like this:

Car Purchase Price (including clearing) - N1.3m
Transmission Replacement (worst case) - N300k
Towing from Port to Repair Shop (budget) - N50k

TOTAL Purchase Price - N1.65m

Conclusion - This is a great deal as car is priced from N2.5m in Nigeria

NB: Already bought it from owner because the deal was too good to pass by. PM me if interested

What year and millage?

There's something I would like you people to explain and enlighten me on. I heard/read that the 10th digit on VIN is the code for the manufacturing year. But the 10th digit on the last VIN posted by amdman is an alphabet. Anyone?

Am thinking low-priced cars can be a good deal for the Nigerian market. These cars will usually have any of the following characteristics:

Clean titles
High Mileage
Minor faults, etc.

For example, the 2007 Honda Accord below can land in Nigeria for 700k (purchase price and shipping. You arrange and pay for cost of clearing). Has a mileage of 383,000.

Generally, the clearing cost for shipping will depend on the age, model, type, etc of the vehicle and will range from N300k to about N600k.

If you don't have your own clearing agent, you can engage Adexfem (+2348056345590) to discuss clearing.

If you are interested in any of the vehicles, Call/Whatsapp - +1437 221 5476

Between this Accord and corolla 2005 and RAV4 2008 Which do you prefer I go for?

I would love to buy a car and ship to Nigeria for my sister please.

For cars, Africa 2000, inc. bonded warehouse at Houston airport and owner Mr. Lo is the nicest guy you'll meet. Been using them over a decade for container load and cars. Moved all our belongings and cars to Nigeria when we moved back- NOT A SINGLE ITEM MISSING. Customs got frustrated trying to look in the container the way he built multiple walls in it grin. Shares his warehouse with United airlines Does most of shipping for the big oil companies and government officials here in Nigeria. NOT a middle man. Tell him his sister Temi referred you and you'll never ship with anyone again.

You can go with radautoworks' recommendation if you are shipping from the US. If you are in Canada, it may be difficult for you to ship by yourself as cars are mostly shipped in containers (except you are in or close to Nova Scotia).
