Exactly Timi Frank's list released two days ago...

TonyeBarcanista:
Updates from the Supreme Court:

The PDP and Atiku/Obi lead counsel, Dr. Livy Uzochukwu applied to tender some new applications before the court.

The CJN, and other Justices of the Supreme Court argued that parts of the pleadings in the new applications are already in the appeal submitted to the court and asked the PDP and Atiku/Obi to adopt or consolidate on the appeal.

But Dr. Uzochukwu countered that the new applications are different and serves a different purposes and should be admitted.

The court has risen to retune in 15 minutes in order to allow the PDP and Atiku/Obi to take decision on consolidating on the new applications and the main appeal.

The names on the panel are:

1. CJN Tanko Mohammed
Bode
2. Rhodes-Vivour
3. Amiru Sanusi
4. Uwani Abaji
5. Ejembi Eko
6. John Inyang Okoro
7. Olukayode Ariwoola

Breaking News!

Tradition broken, Tanko succumbed to APC, Buhari on selection of judges.

The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Tanko Mohammed has succumbed to the pressure of the ruling APC and President Muhammadu Buhari In selecting the justices to sit on the appeal of the PDP and Atiku/Obi.

At the inaugural hearing of the appeal today, the CJN paraded judges purportedly hand picked by the ruling APC and President Muhammadu Buhari.

We had earlier raised the alarm that the ruling APC and President Muhammadu Buhari are putting pressures on the Supreme Court of Nigeria to appoint pliable justices to oversea the appeal.

The tradition of the court in the past is that, the court will select judges in order of their seniority in the Supreme Court. This is not the case this time around.

Have you ever heard the term "abuse of court process"? Must everything be judged according to party lines?
clarocuzioo:
"The CJN, and other Justices of the Supreme Court argued that parts of the pleadings in the new applications are already in the appeal submitted to the court and asked the PDP and Atiku/Obi to adopt or consolidate on the appeal".

Is it the CJN and other justices to argue or APC'S lawyers ?
ATIKU please prepare for next election.

While Atiku's case is still in court, his supporters from the other regions are already clamouring for 2023 presidency. What does that indicate?

I am glad the CJN did not cow to the silly wishes of the desperate PDP to include compromised and politically tainted justices like Mary Odili and Ngwuta on the panel. With the above panel, I’m very sure justice will be served.

I hope Odilli, Mgwunta and Rhodes Viviour offered to recuse themselves. If not I will fight to ensure non of them gets to be CJN.
You cannot sit on a panel where you have conflict of interest or relatives are affected parties

The PDP and Atiku/Obi have once again applied to adopt the 6 different appeals.

But counsel to INEC and Buhari and APC argued against it and asked the Supreme Court not to admit the other appeals apart from the main appeal earlier filed by the PDP and Atiku/Obi

Chief Olanipekun, counsel to President Buhari while arguing against the position of the PDP and Atiku/Obi cited some portions of the judgments of the Appeal Court, saying that the court below had taken cared of most of the appeals and grievances being canvassed by Dr. Livy Uzochukwu of the PDP and Atiku/Obi

Updates from the Supreme Court:

Counsel to the APC, Chief Fagbemi also informed the court that the APC has filed a cross appeal, challenging the decision of the court below and asking the Supreme Court to delete some paragraphs and evidence pw59 snd 60 as contained in the petition of the PDP and Atiku/Obi

Atiku keeps wasting his time. Although he is just trying to keep himself in the spotlight so that he would appear cheated.

Well, even in 2023, we will vote for Osinbajo

This is not a case of win or lose.

It's a case of establishing the sacredness and independency of the Judiciary or otherwise.

It's a case of establishing the fact that one only needs to show affidavit to validate one's educational qualification or otherwise

It's a case of establishing that the Judiciary remains source of hope to common man or otherwise.

It's a case that would define our path as a nation in the next four years.

It's a case that would either affect us positively or negatively as people.

This is a not a case of Atiku Vs Buhari nor PDP Vs APC.
