Oyinbo and sweet mouth. See how they drafted the message as if they have Goodwill. Yeye people.

Believe what they're saying at your own risk.

Brave move, no wonder Apc and PDP dey get time to tweet at each other ...
U can tweet bt u can pay for an ad anymore on Twitter. U have to earn it by convincing people without influence of ur money. I think that’s what he means.

It's quite amazing how Twitter has fundamentally changed how people and organizations converse.

Good move, though I'm always of the opinion that people should not be so easily swayed by one source of "truth". Open your eyes and ears and get your information from multiple sources.

Is there something so different about Twitter (and other social media) that make political ads so hard to discern? I mean, we have ads on TV, newspapers, posters, etc... what's different about this particular medium? Curious...
You have sense jare. Unfortunately, most folks will just believe all the sugar-coated salad that man wrote up there.

As the rule says, for every topic 95% of people will make gullible decisions and judgements.

People will simply look for other platforms for political advertisements. Twitter would lose revenue.

They are not banning political posts. They are simply banning political ads.
What Twitter is saying is that people will now have a choice to see/read or not want to see/read political tweets

With an add people on the platform are "forced" to see/read political tweets.
I think this is commendable.

Twitter influencers with millions of followers would still be allowed to make political posts and promote candidates. That’s a loophole they should have blocked if they want this policy to be very successful. Politicians are smart and desperate to reach their targeted audience. If I want to pass a certain political message, I will simply pay a popular influencer to pass the message. Twitter will only end up losing revenue with this policy.
didn't you read where he distinguished between fan base and paying so the system can push the ads to users?

One is organic while the latter is automatic and not based on the user's consent
Re: Twitter Bans Political Adverts Globally (see Jack Dorsey's Tweets) by Olulinks(m): 10:49pm On Oct 30, 2019
Then this shows you've not read the new stuff introduced on IG to hide likes and some reposts. Techy guys know if the man wants to kill the influencers with their influence na with just a finger.

The burden of guilt is what twitter wants to remove. If the politicians pay an influencer, the onus is on the follower because the content wasn't rammed down his or her throat. The follower is fully responsible for the information received and assimilated. Everything isn't about money, my brother.

see them conspiracy theorists.

You must find something even when there's nothing.

Now instead of him to collect money so he can send buhari posts to you even when you're not following buhari, he's saying that buhari should work hard so you'll be impressed and then follow him so that you see his posts.

How's that a bad thing or a hidden agenda?

P. S no political ads on TV, radio or newspapers because those are neutral channels. Like I said, conspiracy theorist will always see something when there is nothing

He thinks the man is after making some money for himself like Mark. He kept Twitter running for years without making single profit. It's too late for him to afraid of losing soms coins.

do you understand english

you can not do any political ads on twitter whether through influencers or not

your account will be deactivated

which revenue are they losing, do you think they will just ban poltical ad without doing any analysis

baning political ads means the money they get is not much, it was half of their revenue, they wouldnt have ban it.

yes but he is clear there. He said political popularity should be earned not bought. Read His first tweet again. Ads are the ones paid for. Not just political tweets but the ones paid for.

See one human already mentioning Buhari below you. cheesy

Not surprised though, I pretty much expect their attacks on him to quadruple over the coming days due to their principal's failure to cum.

I hope they also take steps over the propagation of hate by nonentities like ffk, Reno and junaid Mohammed.
